Quailfeather vs. Dustcloud

Quailfeather snorted at her opponent's insult, not paying it much attention. She had to focus on this battle if she wanted to win- and she did, with all her heart. This ThunderClan fox-heart was on her territory, and- allies or not- she'd crush her enemy into dust. After all, she was descended from Ashstar, the greatest leader in the forest of the greatest Clan in the forest. If she used her intelligence and the skills she'd learned, any ThunderClan kittypet should be no match. The WindClan senior warrior got up on her hind legs, pummeling her opponent with both paws before coming back down to the ground, braced for whatever dirty trick the other cat might try next. "Kittypet," she taunted, eyes daring her opponent to try something.

Dustcloud recoiled at the she-cats harsh words, only slightly visibly hurt by them. It was an accusation that she hadn't expected, but she knew her origins. This filthy she-cat was in no place to call her a kittypet. "I've probably got more WindClan blood than you do, fox-dung. You've got no right to call me a kittypet!" The silver tabby growled in her direction, and soon after made her next attack on the speckled warrior. Before she had much of a chance to, though, the she-cat was able to one-up her. Once again, she found herself stuck underneath the paws of this WindClan piece of fox-dung. Alright, that's it. She feigned her muscles relaxing, making her whole body slump down, slowly flittering her eyes shut. She was silently counting down in her head until she felt the she-cat loosen her posture. Suddenly, she burst from beneath the blue-eyed warrior, successfully frightening her. This gave her enough time to lash out, clawing at her face with not even a hint of mercy in her motions.

Dustcloud used Play Dead, dealing 16 Damage and using 15 Stamina Points. I was also an idiot and forgot to add her extra SP, so +6 SP.

Quailfeather snarled. Insults to herself she could stand, but insults against her parents were unacceptable. "Both of my parents were full WindClan cats! And if you have any WindClan blood in you, you don't deserve it. Everyone knows ThunderClan is full of nothing but kittypets and rogues." She thought she may have finally beaten the she-cat, but it was just another trick. Smarting from both the words and the blow, the senior warrior doubled her efforts, rearing up on her hind paws and smashing both clawed paws down heavily on her opponent's weakened head, then lashing her across the face with her claws too quick for her to react.

"I see you're just like Smokepelt." The she-cat hissed as her head made contact with the ground beneath her. She'd found out casually after his demotion about a specific incident with a... Frogpaw, was it? Shaking the dizziness away from her head, she took a brief moment to regain her breath, ignoring any words passing Quailfeather's muzzle. Running forwards, she was unable to stop in time to leap onto the she-cats back, and was left to improvise. Grabbing onto the WinClanners tail, she yanked, hard.

"If you mean that I'm a strong warrior who would do anything for their Clan and can effectively defend it, then yes, I'm exactly like my father," Quailfeather snarled, yanked back hard by the ThunderClanner's copy-cat moves. "I see you're still too dumb to come up with your own strategies. No wonder ThuderClan lost Sunningrocks, if all of you fought this badly!" She stood back up, claws unsheathed, readier to fight than ever.

Quailfeather is no longer stunned.

"I see you're friends with the fish-faces now, eh?" She seethed, a low growl slowly building up into a full-on snarl as her lip twitched in agitation. Leaping towards the she-cat, she landed exactly where she was hoping she would. Standing up on her hind legs, she unsheathed her claws and slashed wildly at the she-cat, leaving deep scars across her back for sure.

Dustcloud growled, rolling over onto her back quickly. She was able to knock the younger warrior off of her side, but she felt her body growing weaker by the second. Looking into her blue eyes, she smiled sickeningly sweetly. She then shoved her off using her front paws, knowing it was likely all the strength she could muster.

A large grin grew on Quailfeather's face as she realized her opponent was out of energy. She had- barely- outlasted her. The senior warrior gathered all her energy for one last attack, bringing her paws down heavily on the other cat's back, smashing her into the ground where she wouldn't get up. She had won. "This is what happens when cats mess with WindClan," she purred in satisfaction before leaving.
