Duke it Out 2.0 {Closed}

Loaf was hesitantly crossing over the Skyclan border, continually glancing from left to right in case someone caught him during his schemes. He had been here a few times, but this was his first time alone. He didn't underestimate the clan cats' strength, that's for sure. That's why he needed to be stealthy, or else h'd pay dearly for it.

The scarred ginger tabby began trotting deeper into the territory, constantly watching for some kind of movement among the trees. The forest seemed quiet enough, for now...

Spiderpaw was alone again. He needed to be alone. He needed to think, as far away from Raccoonpaw as possible. He was growing more used to the territory, so it didn’t scare him nearly as much to walk around alone. And he was so jumpy he’d be able to avoid any possible predator attack, or so Raccoonpaw said...

The scent of an intruder hit his nose just before the cat in question appeared behind a tree. He whimpered in fear and began to tremble. Great StarClan, why did this have to happen to him? He knew he couldn’t just let this cat walk around in their territory, but he was so scared! But... he had to be strong. He had to be what his Clan needed him to be.

With another gulp, he approached Loaf, narrowing his eyes at him. His trembling and the tremor in his voice clearly gave away to the rogue just how terrified he was, however. ”Y-You shouldn’t be h-here... G-Go away...”

Spiderpaw's voice reached her ears in time for her to come running. An intruder? "That's right, rogue, you get out of our territory NOW and stay away from my friend!" she shouted as she burst through the bushes. There was a feeling in her chest spreading... not quite like her feelings for Acornpaw, more like her love for her mother and siblings. The feeling that she had to protect him. He already knew what it was to lose a parent... he'd lost two mothers, like she'd lost 2 fathers.

At first, he was taken back by the voices. Then he noticed how tiny the cats were, compared to him. He had to chuckle; he couldn't help it, really, seeing how resilient these kittens were to defend their..territory. Did clan cats really raise their offspring to think they can take on rogues, who abide by no laws?

"How about you make me leave, little kittens?" Without warning, he sprang at the nearest cat; Spiderpaw. Shoving him to the ground, he yowled as his claws raked the apprentice's sides.

Loaf used Jumping Strike, dealing 10 damage and costing 20 stamina.

Spiderpaw's eyes widened with absolute horror just before the larger rogue slammed into him, sending him flying back into a tree. He squealed with pain and terror, and he stared up at Loaf in terror.

"Well... I'll be honest, you're quite small..." Liontail's voice suddenly echoed in his mind. "But you can use that in your advantage; older and bigger cats are slower, you can move fast and have good reflexes."

Spiderpaw struggled up to his legs, still scared out of his little mind, but also determined to prove that he was anything but a whimpering little kit when it mattered most. This cat was trespassing, and it was his duty as a SkyClan cat to protect his territory. He rushed towards Loaf, narrowing his eyes as he rapidly tried to think of a way to disable him.

"One of the moves I use: bite on the opponent's tail and pull to knock him over. You can slip and run between their legs and grab their tail, with your speed and agility you can do it."

And that's just what Spiderpaw did. He dove underneath Loaf's belly, his tiny lithe body able to squeeze through with no trouble at all. Still racing past, he grabbed a hold of the rogue's teeth hard between his teeth, using his momentum to yank him off balance.

Spiderpaw used Tail Yank on Loaf, dealing 2 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Loaf is Stunned for one turn.

Crowpaw tried not to snarl. Instead, she replied sassily; "You know what? I think we will."

Crow uses belly rake on loaf. 7 hp, 10 sp

Loaf hissed as he tried to take a swipe at the other apprentice, but was knocked off balance by the other apprentice that had managed to slip behind him. He growled in frustration; these rats would definitely pay.

Loaf is no longer stunned.

“Don’t stop now, take every chance you have to attack the enemy!”

Spiderpaw’s eyes narrowed in concentration as he leaped on their attacker, helping Crowpaw slash into his belly.

Spiderpaw used Belly Rake on Loaf, dealing 7 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Loaf snarled in anger. Once he was done with with these apprentices, there would be nothing left! Angry, he went up on his hind legs and brought unsheathed paws down onto Spiderpaw with no mercy, not even wincing as the cat cried out in pain.

Loaf used Upright Front Paws, dealing 11 damage and costing 20 stamina.

Spiderpaw’s eyes widened as he watched in absolute horror at the unsheathed claws lashing out at him. Then pain happened. Lots and lots of pain. He screeched in agony at the injuries on his face, far too close to his eyes and ears, yet they hadn’t been affected by the tom’s attack. He stumbled over his tail and fell, hitting his head hard on the way down, knocking him completely unconscious.
