Lionpaw’s Assessment

He was growing really tired but he wanted to try again, again he searched, again he spotted a rabbit, again crouched, again stalked... and pounced again.

The little creature squeaked loudly, just because of that Lionpaw realized he caught it! He really caught it! before doing anything else he killed it biting it´s neck... and said his thanks to StarClan.

-I-I made it... i really made it- he gasped, he was tired, really tired, but he carried the dead rabbit over the other kills he made... stars, he felt like fainting, he he managed to stay awake.

”Well done, Lionpaw!” Scorchfang purred loudly, padding out from behind a large pine tree, his bright orange eyes shining with pride. ”You’ve done very well. Even if you’ve missed some of your catches, you didn’t give up. I’m glad to have such a committed apprentice. I’ll talk with Littlestar, and then I’ll organize a journey to the Moonstone for you. Then you can become a warrior!”

Lionpaw couldn´t help to smile and purr loudly at his father´s praise, he was working hard to make him proud, both him and the clan.

-T-thanks... dad... i can´t wait, really- he purred -But... can we go back now...? i don´t think i will be able to stay a-awake for too long-

The fluffy tom purred sympathetically, nuzzling his cheek fondly. ”Of course. Help me bring your prey back to camp, then you can eat and rest. We’ll travel to the Moonstone tomorrow.” He bent down to pick up Lionpaw’s rabbit, then scooped up the mouse by the tail, and began making his way back to camp.

Lionpaw purred, then he picked the lizard by it´s tail and the frog by it´s leg, and went after his father, back to the camp.
