Shadefang struggled to his paws and growled lowly at the two SkyClan cats, then turned and limped back into his own territory.

Blossomheart watched him go, then rushed over to Ashpaw's side. "Get up Ashpaw, it's okay now, I defeated him... You can't think like that, he would have killed you and I wouldn't be able to deal with the fact that it's my fault you died. Let's get you to Mintwhisker." She nuzzled him.

He didn't respond; he was out cold from the loss of blood. Even if he wanted to speak, he wouldn't be able to; the pain would've torn his voice away. When Blossomheart nuzzled him, the unconscious apprentice winced and groaned in pain.
