update -

i went to the junior pool party, today. it was fun. there were burgers and sweet tea and thor wore a tank top after we got out of the pool (ahaha muscles are one of my weaknesses help). we talked about jp, and he was happy to go w/ me. i asked him about the girl in my ap english class and he told me that they had dated before, but nobody knew that they had broken up or were serious about their relationship.

today, when i confirmed with my mom that i had an actual date to prom, she gave me an odd look at first (because i had told her countless times that i didnt want a date and nobody would want to go out with me, anyways), but she was really happy for me afterward.

tomorrow is going to be so exciting.

leaving in about 2 minutes because thor is almost here to pick me (and some of his and my friends) up for dinner. since there's a decent amount of us, we decided to split a bill at houston's.

update -

if you're wondering, we didn't kiss last night. we're not quite there, yet.

prom was so much fun, though.

there was a chocolate fountain, so that was pretty much one of the highlights of the night.

i somehow made it through the night on these exact heels. i guess miracles do come true.

anyway, it was me, thor, a couple of his close friends from the cross-country team and their dates, and few of my close friends and their dates that went to houston's together. the theme of the dance was written in the stars, so the place was really pretty. instead of using the school gym, the school was able to rent out a ballroom at a hotel downtown.

there were a lot of slow dances. i danced w/ thor a lot, but i also had some dances w/ my guy best friend (i'll call him loki, just because there's a marvel theme going on). some girls that i wasn't friends with tried to start a bunch of drama and draw attention to themselves. one of them started crying in the bathroom because they thought they weren't pretty enough and they thought their makeup was awful. turns out it was just their tears making their makeup worse.

prom queen was some girl that used to be my friend, but turned out to be fake.
prom king was one of thor's friends.

the after-party was fun, too. it started at 11 and went on until about 6 in the morning. thor and i left at 4, just because we got tired. tonight, he's coming to my house so that we can study for exams together. im planning to ask him about our relationship, more dates, and things like that, but it'd be a bit difficult since summer is coming up and people will be busy w/ camps, vacations, and stuff.

other than that, all is well.
