Featherkit's apprentice ceremony

Featherkit looked at her mom.
"Thank you, mother."
She said licking Dark's leg.

Goldenstar grinned. "We gather here to make this kit an apprentice. Step forward." She motioned for Featherkit to come up to Highrock.

Hesitantly, looking at all the eyes on her, Featherkit pushed her head and tail high, and walked onto high rock.

Leopardheart grinned at the kit.

"From this moment forward, until you have earned your warrior name, you shall be known as Featherpaw. Leopardheart, you shall be her mentor. I hope that you shall pass on all your wisdom to this young apprentice." Goldenstar said.

Featherpaw walked over to Leapordheart and touched her nose to her mentors.

I yell out her new name when everyone else starts too, and jump while still in the nursery.

Leopardheart touched noses with Featherpaw. "Come on, lets get you settled in the apprentice den."

Featherpaw bounded after Leapordheart as she went to the apprentices den, only to stop and grin at Swipekit as she passed the nursery.
