Nutfur padded along with the rather large patrol that she was on. They hadn't started hunting yet, but she had a good feeling about the day. The air was warm, and she could hear they prey rustling about. This was possibly the best day for hunting that they had in a while. Little did she know, another creature agreed. As the patrol walked, a strange scent drifted through the air. Familiar, but not too distinct. For a bit it was too faint and distant for the brown warrior to pay much attention to it. But as it began to grow stronger, it overpowered the prey scent. She froze as she realized what it was, and how fast it was approaching. Hissing in both fear and anger, she spun in it's direction, realizing just how close the fox had been. How had it been able to hide itself for so long? But that didn't matter now. They just had to make sure that nobody got hurt because of it.
"There's a fox!" Nutfur yowled as a warning, before lunging for the red creature. Rearing up on her hind legs, she scent her claws scouring through its pelt rapidly, power behind each and every strike. That would be painful and make it harder for the beast to attack. It seemed surprised by her skills, and she guessed it had never fought cats like RiverClan before. And hopefully it would never again if she had anything to do with it.

Nutfur used Rear-up to Slash on Fox, dealing 13 damage and costing 15 stamina.

Snowblossom was just enjoying the warm sun that had begun to shine from the sky above. She was very glad that newleaf was over... even though RiverClan had been victorious in both battles, the constant fighting had been exhausting, both on the battlefield and in skirmishes at borders. Maybe now the conflicts would be over. She had reason to hope so... because she was carrying Lakewhisper's kits. Lakewhisper, her mate. How lucky she was to have him. She had been in a state of almost delirious happiness since Cloudstone had given her the news. However, she still wanted to go on patrols, and smell the fresh air, and just enjoy.... Nutfur's yowl broke through her reverie. Startled, she backed away for a second, watching as the brown warrior attacked a giant, russet beast that had broken through into their line of vision. A fox. Instinct kicked in as she saw the enormous, threatening animal. She had to protect her kits! The fluffy white queen slashed at the fox's pelt, wanting to scare it off, make it go away, get rid of it. There were kits inside her belly who needed her.

Snowblossom used Upright Front Paws on Fox, dealing 11 damage and costing 20 stamina.

Wolfsong where walking slowly in the back of the patrol enyoing the warm sun, he was looking forward the catch some fish. Lost in thought as he nearly always was he didn't notice the smell of the fox and when he heard Nutfurs yowl he quickly got snapped out of is own world and charged forward towards the fox before the fox could strike at him he leaped over the fox and bit it's tail then jerking his head back so the fox lost it's balance and feel onto the ground.
