Credit to Harlem for this idea. I'm not trying to be a copycat or anything, it just looked like a good idea and I like writing. Same as Harlem, I will post stories in a different topic, but link to your story here. Without further ado, let's go.
First line writing prompts:
1. It started when I decided to jump out of a tree.
2. To most, the bushes seemed silent.
3. As I looked around, nothing seemed the same.
4. Feet pounded on the hard stone that made up the ground.
5. I fingered through all my belongings in a vain hope that I'd find it.
6. Tears ran down my cheeks in tiny rivers.
7. Blood dripped from my teeth and claws as I ran.
8. "If I have to see you one more time, I swear..."
9. The road from the city to wilderness was a fitting metaphor for my life.
10. I was awake in a flash, my heart beating at an astonishing rate.
11. Looking over the test I had to complete, I couldn't help but feel pessimistic.
12. All perfect lands have a down side, and the more perfect the land, the worse the downside.
13. I took a step back, my head throbbing.
14. It had been only three days since I died when I heard the fateful words.
15. The most unusual thing about me was the fact that I was blue.
