Smokewish yawned, padding out of the nursery and using her tail to guide Nightkit and Mudkit out into the camp. She gazed at them lovingly, hardly able to believe that she and Spotfur produced such adorable little cats. ”Good morning, my loves.” She purred. ”What would you like to play today?”

Mudkit followed his mom after having a nightmare about the river again. "i don't know how about you nightkit?" he asked his sister with a nice but shaky tone. He was trying to not make his mother wonder why he was scared. He was closer to nightkit than to the others and liked to play with her. She was also with him when he fell into the river.

Nightkit looked at her brother and then her mother. "Ummmm... i don't know. How about truth or dare?" She said. She noticed a little bit of a shaky tone in Mudkit's voice and remembered the night with the river. She hoped her mother didn't notice.
