Hunting with Fracturedpaw!

Russetfang walked into the apprentice's den to retrieve her first apprentice, Fracturedpaw. She was going to take her hunting. The warrior walked in and called for her, "Fracturedpaw! Wake up! We're going hunting so hurry and meet me at the camp entrance." The she-cat left and made her way to the camp entrance to wait for her apprentice.

The black and white she cat opened her indigo colored eyes as she heard the voice of her mentor and she stretched before the she cat made her way out of the apprentices den shaking prices of her neat from her short fur. Making her way over to her mentor she smiled"I'm ready to start"she mewed.

Russetfang gave her apprentice a smile before beckoning her to follow out of Shadowclan camp. The two she-cats began to head over at the direction of a small clearing with trees surrounding. "Okay Fracturedpaw, I will teach you how to catch land prey. First you must crouch down like this. Keep your tail off the ground and make sure to step lightly. We wouldn't want any prey fleeing because you were making too much noise. Make sure you're level with the ground. Us Shadowclanners rely on using the shadows and any other thing that can help us hide and take on our enemy or prey by surprise." the warrior was low on the ground but no other body part but her paws were touching the ground. Her rump wasn't sticking up but wasn't low either. Her tail was level with the ground beneath her. Her paws light and not pressing on the ground too much. "What I just showed you is called the hunter's crouch. Now you try it. It requires balance so I don't expect you to get it perfect the first time but I want to to practice. Then we can go hunt with the move I just taught you." she said while standing back.
