Here We Go Again (Closed)

Dappledpaw hissed, screwing his eyes up in pain, and scrambled to get to his paws. He didn't care how much he was bleeding. These fox-hearts started the fight, but he and Flickerpaw would finish it. He yowled in fury and sprinted straight into Sandfrost, his massive paws knocking her n the edge of one of the rocks.


Dappledpaw used run and tackle.

OOC: Should she kill Fawn next turn? Don't want this to last too long.

IC: Flickerpaw couldn't help but notice the same side of her was being attacked. Her right shoulder, her right side, maybe something could attack her on the left for once! She attacked right back at Fawnsong, trying not to show that her wounds bothered her.

Flickerpaw used Run-and-Tackle.

Fawnsong staggered to her paws. She had to hand it to them, these apprentices were not bad fighters. definitely not. She grew weaker and her attacks were getting less effective. She snarled and clawed Flickerpaw’s chest.

Fawnsong used Front Paw Strike!

Flickerpaw was getting too much into the fighting. Using all the strength she had left, she struggled to pin down Fawnsong. It went by so fast that Flickerpaw didn't realize what she was doing until it was over. She tore open Fawnsong's throat, sharp glistening white teeth now dripping red with blood. The pain on Fawnsong's face was all Flickerpaw saw. Now she was a murderer, just as bad as Otterleap. She backed away from the Riverclan she-cat. There was no turning back. Had this one act doomed her to the Dark Forest? Shakily, Flickerpaw turned to see how her brother Dappledpaw was doing. If it was the last thing she did, she would protect her siblings and her Clan, even if it meant to kill. Flickerpaw hadn't known how horrible it felt when she killed another cat. Killing prey made her grateful for the prey's life and proud to feed her Clan. Killing a predator made her feel triumphant and proud to protect her Clan. But killing another cat, even a rival one... It made her feel sick. Sick like she had betrayed the Warrior Code. Sick that she had taken the life of a cat. Now Fawnsong was dead and Ivystar was sure to rage against Thunderclan even more than before. All because of her.

Fawnsong yelped as the thunderclanner slit her throat. Pain seared through her, and she could feel the blood drip from her. It was when her vision started to go fuzzy she realized she wouldn’t be leaving this battle alive. The last thing she saw were the shaking legs of her opponent.

OOC: R.I.P Fawnsong.

Sandfrost yowled when the apprentice rushed forward and pushed her off the rock they were fighting on. She just realized how high up they were. When the warrior hit the ground, she felt the most unbearable pain on her right shoulder. She squealed in pain and struggled to get up. Those apprentices aren't strong but they're clever. Sandfrost finally managed to get up and looked up to where Fawnsong was fighting. Her face filled with horror as Flickerpaw killed Fawnsong. She trembled. 'Fawnsong no!' she cried internally. She was too shocked to utter a word. She shook her head and opened her mouth to speak, "You monster! You're just as bad as Otterleap! You were t-tresspassing on OUR Sunningrocks! Get out! GET OUT! I-Ivystar will hear of this!" The warrior was panting with fury. The apprentice killed one of Riverclan's warriors on Riverclan territory. She made her way up to them with unstopabble tears. Fawnsong was so young! She had just been made a warrior!  She spat at them and grabbed Fawnsong's cold body by the scruff. She made her way down with a limp, hoping to never see those two again.

Dappledpaw barely had time to watch the warrior he had been fighting fall of the rock when he saw what his sister had done. A RiverClan warrior... dead? Speechless, he padded softly over to Flickerpaw’s side, ignoring all the screaming pain all through his body. He wanted to comfort his sister, but what could he say? The brown tabby rubbed his cheek against Flickerpaw as a comforting gesture. He flinched as the other warrior spat at her, before dragging the limp body. He dimly registered blood from his belly dripping onto the rock, but he was too numb with shock to care much. He gently licked the worst of Flickerpaw’s wounds, barely noticing how dizzy he felt.

Flickerpaw blinked away the tears and shook her head. She couldn't let Sandfrost get to her. She was grateful for Dappledpaw's kind gesture, but those things only made it worse. "L- Let's get back to camp." Her voice wavered. "Are you okay?" She asked as she padded back towards Thunderclan camp.

OOC: And in comes the personality change! Now Flicker will be a little nicer and a little more careful, a little more grateful and a little more respectful. Should Flicker go tell Blizzard that she killed a cat?

Dappledpaw padded after his sister before speaking up. ”Fine.” He lied, walking right next to her. ”W-we should g-get you to m-maplepaw.” StarClan, he was stuttering like Wisteriapaw! He avoided looking his sister directly in the eye, it was far easier to hide his feelings if he stared straight at the ground. He still wasn’t fully able to comprehend what had happened. The warrior he was fighting could easily have died if she landed on her head. He shuddered at the thought. Thank the stars it was only her shoulder.
