Sneaking Around

Sootkit padded past the ferns, peeking inside the den he'd visited in the past for minor scrapes and scratches caused by his sister, Thornkit. He was on a mission, a mission to inspect all the funny plants the medicine cats kept in here. He glanced over at the younger black and white she-kit nearby "They aren't here! They must be out collecting more weird plant things. C'mon Fuzzbrain, we gotta hurry before they get back!"

He scurried inside, his nose instantly struck by the scent of strange herbs and medicines. The ground beneath his paws was sandy and covered in dry pine needles. "This place is so weird..." he muttered. Even though he'd been in here a few times, the oddness of the ground and the alien scents caught him by surprise every time.

Fracturedkit made her way into the medicine cats den. She blinked her nose instantly struck by the smell of herbs it took the young she kit by surprised by the strong smell. Getting used to the smell she scampered over to Sootkit with a small smile."Yeah it is"

He bounded over across the sandy ground over to the herb reserves, sniffing at some of them and recoiling slightly at the sharply bitter scents, "What should we play with first?"

Fracturedkit crept over before she nosed what seemed like a a berry and it didn't seem to smell all too bad."What about this"she mewed.

"Oooh I wonder what that is... Oh hey, what's this?" He pulled a clump of herbs out of place, making a bit of a mess. He then leaned down and started chewing on a plant that looked kinda like a fern (Ragweed). "It tastes funny..."

Fracturedkit blinked looking over from where she nibbled ever so slightly on the berry she had found not knowing what it was. She looked to him blinking"what do you mean it tastes funny?"She mewed curiously

"It's kinda bitter and sweet at the same time... blegh. Weird stuff." Sootkit batted it over to her, "Here, try it!" Then he nosed around some other herbs and made an even bigger mess. "There's so many plants in here, I wonder how they collect all this stuff... or how they can even tell the difference between them."

"Right it seems so confusing"She squeaked and sniffed the lead he showed her. She wrinkled her nose before she moved sniffing at another berry that had a reddish tint. In pulling it out an even bigger mess happened.

Sootkit tilted his head, looking at the berry she pulled out "Ooh that looks interesting. I wonder what it is?"

(OOC: Is that a holly berry or a deathberry? xD)

Lol either or probably holly berry but would make for something interesting after this topic XD))

"I wonder too....it smells good"She mewed sniffing the berry Dr a moment tempted to try it.

A shadow crossed the floor of the den as Nettlesting stepped in the doorway to find kits. Instantly, he went straight into rage mode. His precious herbs he had just spent hours sorting! "What in StarClan's name are you doing?" he yowled, and swooped up the first kit he saw ((Sootkit)) and moving him closer to the entrance of the den. He whipped around, eyes blazing to whichever kit was pawing at a berry. "Step away from that berry now. Unless you want to die. By all means, join StarClan for being foolish!" he hissed, stepping forward and swatting the berry away from the kit, glaring down. He didn't hate kits. He hated undisciplined kits.

Fracturedkit fur puffed out in surprise as the berry was batted away from her making the already fluffed up marbled white and black she kit jump with a startled small hiss before she backed away realizing it was the medicine cat. She lowered her body to ground"it wasn't my idea"she mewed ears flat

(OOC: Fracturedkit was the one by the berry, Sootkit was the other one)

Sootkit stared defiantly up at the medicine cat, seeming unphased by his fury. "I was curious. It's my fault, she just followed me. Besides, why are you so mad? You can just get more of them, there's plants everywhere." The kit seemed to genuinely not understand his anger. "We were just looking."

Nettlesting twitched his tail furiously. "No big deal? Look at this mess! And your friend over there almost died. If they ate the berry, she would be dead right now." Nettlesting swiftly slid the other kit to the entrance. "Out. Now. We're going to go talk to Magpiestar right this instant." Nettlesting nudged the kits out into the cold and kept nudging them until they were in the center of the camp. "Magpiestar!" He called angrily for his leader and friend.

Fracturedkit didn't say a word her fur laying flat but she didn't fight back when she was nudged out all the way to the center of camp. Her first time out of camp turned into a disaster. She tried to make herself seem smaller then she was her black and white fur made it hard for the kit to try and hide herself as much as she wanted to.
