Foxpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Blizzardstar smiled as she hoped onto the Highrock, finally another apprentice was ready to become a warrior “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Foxpaw purked up as soon as he heard Blizzardstar’s call. He had been preparing for his ceremony all day. He bounded over nervousness and excitement filling his stomach. This is it! I can do this.. don’t mess up.. be confident.. I wonder what my name will be?

DaisyHeart walked out of the nursery and smiled at foxpaw. Today was his warrior ceremony and she couldn't wait. She walked up to him with a smile and sat down next to him waiting for his new name.

Spottedpelt walked out of the nursery after DaisyHeart and smiled ta her brother. She was so excited that her brother will become a warrior. She sat down behind him.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on "Foxpaw, please, step forward” She waited until the apprentice did as she was told before talking again “I, Blizzardstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn” Her gentle eyes soon landed on the the she-cat “Foxpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?”

Foxpaw smiled at his friends, and stepped forward. ”I do,” he meowed, head held high.

Blizzardstar smiled and nodded approvingly before she continued speaking “Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Foxpaw, from this moment you will be known as Foxfire. StarClan honors your bravery and great humor, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan” With that, she leaped off the Highrock and rested her muzzle on the newly named warrior’s head to conclude the ceremony.

Daisyheart jumped to her paws and was the first to say his name. "foxfire foxfire." she said and licked his cheek.

Spottedpelt was glad her brother was finally a warrior. "foxfire." she said smiling.

Foxfire purred. He finally made it. He turned to Daisyheart and nuzzles her. Maybe now that he was a warrior they could become official mates!
