Scorchfang snarled in pain and fury as he struggled underneath her. Unfortunately, he felt his energy quickly draining away, and he just wasn't strong enough to lift her off him.

Emberheart held her ground - or, in this case, held down her opponent. "Ready to admit defeat, Trespasser?" she asked, her pleasant voice's dissonance rather clear given the current situation. If a Twoleg expression were to be used, in that moment she looked rather like the cat that got the cream.

Emberheart is still using Leap-and-Hold, dealing 9 damage and costing 10 stamina. Scorchfang is no longer pinned.

Scorchfang growled softly as he fell limp, giving in. "F-Fine, fine!... I'm Scorchfang of ShadowClan. I was hunting a squirrel, but it crossed the Thunderpath. It didn't even reach the grass on your territory, so technically I caught it in no cat's land. Are you happy now? Will you let me up?" He hated giving in after losing a battle. He glared angrily up at the ThunderClan she-cat.

Emberheart did, in fact, let the other cat up, but she had one more incredulous question. "...Wait, ShadowClan cats eat squirrels?" She had assumed they only ate frogs and lizards from what she had heard. It wasn't like she had ever actually spoken to a ShadowClan cat who was hunting. "It's good to know you have a name, anyway. Go catch some frogs or something on your territory, would you?" Her voice wasn't even dismissive, that same pleasant tone she had used moments earlier.

The ShadowClan tom glared furiously at Emberheart for many moments after he struggled to his paws, his bushy tail flicking to and fro in irritation. Finally, he snorted at her before turning around and padding back to his side of the Thunderpath. He stopped at the squirrel that had been tossed away during the beginning of the fight. He really didn't have the strength to continue battling if she decided to attack again. And... ThunderClan was still suffering from the forest fire. He growled lowly, then bounded back into the pine forest of ShadowClan territory, leaving the squirrel behind for Emberheart to take back to her own Clan.
