Owlpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Blizzardstar smiled as she hoped onto the Highrock, finally another apprentice was ready to become a warrior “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Owlpaw heard the call and groomed her dark brown fur quietly but quickly. She then moved out and dat down with her clanmates. She really hoped this was her ceremony.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on "Owlpaw, please, step forward” She waited until the apprentice did as she was told before talking again “I, Blizzardstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn” Her gentle eyes soon landed on the the she-cat “Owlpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?”

The massive she cat moved forward lifting her brown tabbied head looking to Blizzardstar with green eyes."I do"she mewed her green eyes glittering with anticipation of her warrior name she had waited so so long for.

Blizzardstar smiled and nodded approvingly before she continued speaking “Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Owlpaw, from this moment you will be known as Owltalon. StarClan honors your self-reliance and bravery, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan” With that, she leaped off the Highrock and rested her muzzle on the newly named warrior’s head to conclude the ceremony.
