Finkit and Mothkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Two more apprentices. Only StarClan knew how much he needed them in this cold weather.

Mothkit finally decided her pelt was as shiny and orderly as it was going to get, and padded out of the nursery at her leader's call. She was not nervous as she wove her way through the gathering crowd, until she halted at the front of the cats. Today was the day that she would finally be able to become an apprentice, and though she seemed calm and collected on the outside, inside she was squealing with excitement. The only indication of such lay in the kneading of her paws in the snow.

Finkit looked up and decided to go to the meeting this time. He sat next to Mothkit, glancing at her before looking back up at Magpiestar.

"Finkit, Mothkit, please step forward. You have both reached the age of six moons, and are now ready to be apprenticed. From this day forth, until you receive your warrior names, you shall be known as Finpaw and Mothpaw," the black leader spoke, smiling down at the newly named apprentices. "Your mentors shall be Cedarstorm and Violetshine. Congratulations."

Finkit- no, he was Finpaw- excitedly stood to look for Cedarstorm.

The newly-named Mothpaw smiled softly at Finpaw's excitement, and turned to find her own mentor; Violetshine.
