Raggedpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Blizzardstar took a deep breath before hoping onto the Highrock. In all honesty she still couldn’t fully believe this moment had arrived, but…it did. This was no dream, and in the middle of all the tragedies that truck her clan lately, she finally found her rainbow, that rainbow that she had grown to love and for so many sunrises had left her. She didn’t know how long it would last, so she wanted to make the best out of it “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Raggedpaw left the medicine den, and settled in front of the clan leader.

“Today we gather to celebrate that one of us is about to not only get her warrior name, but at least become officially part of ThunderClan. He proved to be loyal and caring for those in our clan, and showed bravery against an opponent many would’ve fled from. He proved those that doubted him wrong by showing that even those that come from outside can become true warriors if that’s what they truly desire” With those words she finally looked down at the former rogue, soon to be warrior “Raggedpaw, step forward".

Raggedpaw blinked. Wow. Tatteredleaf would be proud! He ook a step foward, dipping his head to the leader.

Blizzardstar had to clear her throat before continuing. Her throat was getting better but it was still somewhat sore, so talking as loud as she was doing it right now wasn’t exactly comfortable, but she was swilling to ignore it to enjoy this moment at it fullest “I, Blizzardstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn” Her weak smile turned into a serious expression for the next words “Raggedpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?”.

"I do," he said quietly, respectfully.

Blizzardstar's smile returned, just bigger, with Raggedpaw's answer “Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Raggedpaw, you have proven to us that your previous name no longer fits you, not only in appareance but through your actions, and because of this from this moment you will be known as Tigerspark. StarClan honors your courage and kindness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan” With that, she leaped off the Highrock and rested her muzzle on the newly named warrior’s head to conclude the ceremony "Congratulations...you made it at last".

Tigerspark walked forward and dipped his head, humbled and glad to finally be a warrior of ThunderClan.
