Run, kid, run [Closed]

At the edges of WindClan camp, Dewtuft waited with abated breath for his apprentice to turn up. He was keen to teach this little one the ways of WindClan, how to run through the tall grass and chase down prey. There was no greater thrill, and he was happy to pass this on. But in his eagerness, the warrior had gotten up too early. Yawning, he lazily watched the sun as he waited, hoping that Harepaw might awaken a little early.

Harepaw was curled in his nest, the sunlight woke him from his slumber. He lazily lifted his head and looked up to the rising sun in the open sky, then he realized. 'I overslept!' The apprentice scrambled up from his resting spot and ran into the camp clearing, He looked around it for his mentor.

"Over here, Harepaw. Or should I say, hare-brains." The warrior joked, flicking with his tail for the apprentice to hurry. Though he wasn't opposed to trying to hunt a bird or two, rabbits were definitely their speciality. Hunting others things was a gamble that he didn't want to take with a new apprentice, after all, most birds would have taken off for the winter around here."Quickly, or we're going to miss the rabbits coming out to feed."

The apprentice approached his mentor, He mewed "Hey! I- " He was going to object against the joke, though he stopped himself, knowing he has wasted enough time. Harepaw continued forward until he leapt to the side of Dewtuft, "So, where are we training? Am I really going to catch some rabbits?" Energy began to flow through his questions, his eagerness showing in his eyes and what's left of his drowsiness fade. He couldn't wait to catch his first prey and boast to the other apprentices about his catch.
