Heatherpetal spat furiously at the fox as it appeared. Of course one would ruin Spottedpaw's first practice of hunting. She stood in front of Spottedpaw, guarding her from the massive creature. "Stay behind me! Foxes are too strong for apprentices to take on!" She would have to take on this fox all by herself... She gulped, her fur fluffed with aggression and fear. Leaping at the vicious predator, she reared up on her hind paws and thwacked rapidly at its muzzle with sharp claws, spatting with protective rage.

Heatherpetal used Rear-Up to Slash, dealing 9 damage and costing 15 stamina.

Spottedpaw stayed back even though she didn't want to.

The fox was mad at the older cat and grabbed it by its leg. It started shaking the cat violently.

Heatherpetal yowled in pain and tried to struggle free. Cold terror pulsed through her body. She didn't want to die! "Spottedpaw! Get help!" she choked out in agony.

(OOC: Make sure not to kill her :3)

Spottedpaw didn't want to leave the her friend so she attacked the fox's belly. She slashed her paw and claws down the belly. Fox howled in pain but didn't attack the little cat from amusement.

Heatherpetal struggled to her paws, her leg bleeding from the wound and unbearable to put weight down on. "Sp-Spottedpaw... We need to get outta here... That beast can kill either one of us!..."

Spottedpaw listened as her friend as she struggled to stand. "ok I'll distract it then you get out of here I'll catch up later." she said then ran at the fox slashing her paw over its side.

"Not a chance!" Heatherpetal hissed. There was no way she was going to let an inexperienced apprentice try to fight off a massive fox while a warrior escaped. She leaped behind the fox and gnashed her teeth into its tail, yanking as hard as she could to throw it off balance. "Run, Spottedpaw!"

Heatherpetal used Tail Yank on Fox, dealing 3 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Fox is Stunned for one turn.

Spottedpaw looked at her for fiend. "ok but please don't die and find me." she said and ran off. She ran to a tree that had a hole big enough for her so she went in it. She hoped heatherpetal didn't get hurt that much. She licked the blood of her paw and saw that one of ernclaws came out. Now that danger past the pain of the missing claw was terrible. She hoped that heatherpetal would find her soon so they could go to the med. den. She sighed and licked the spot where her claw used to be.

Heatherpetal spat and continued swatting at the fox. Once Spottedpaw fled, she began jumping back and forth, jeering it and tempting it to chase her. She was planning on leading it as far away from the heart of ThunderClan territory as possible.

Spottedpaw waited and waited but she didn't come. what is taking her so long is she dead? she asked her self then freaked out. She started to stand but the paw without a claw hurt to much she couldn't walk on it. i hope she is safe and I wished I could help her. she said to herself then layed down waiting once again.

It took a long while, but Heatherpetal was finally able to lead the fox out of the territory. She ran over the border and hid herself in a river where the fox wasn't able to reach her. She had managed to mask her scent, confusing the brute, and finally it decided to leave to find easier prey elsewhere.

Heatherpetal gasped and coughed as her head breached the water, paddling back to the shore and laying there, exhausted, freezing, soaked, and in massive pain; the frantic running had only hurt her injured leg even more.

She tried to climb to her paws, but her muscles were out of commission, just refusing to work. Her teeth chattered in the freezing air, which only made the water lodged in her fur colder. If she didn't know any better, she'd think her pelt was beginning to turn into ice.

She wished Spottedpaw would've just listened to her and gone for help so that a rescue party could at least find her all the way out here. She didn't have the heart to be angry with the apprentice; she was just trying to help. At least she was able to lead the fox away, so now Spottedpaw and her Clanmates would be safe.

Now if only she could be saved as well.

Exhaustion turned into fatigue, and then into sleepiness. She knew the risk of falling asleep in such a scenario, but she just couldn't keep up the strength any longer. The only thing she could do was hope Spottedpaw would find help back in camp and she would wake back up.

Her heavy eyes lost the fight in staying open, and she fell into a deep sleep...

(OOC: Don't worry, she isn't dead. I don't wanna kill her off just yet XD)

OOC: ok well I don't want to go through all the trouble in getting someone so can she just find heatherpetal and protect and feed her till she has enough strength to go to camp.

Ic: spottedpaw knew that it has been too long and that something happened. To got to her feet even though her paw was in terrible pain. She limped all the way back to where the fighting was and noticed they weren't there. She followed the scent of the fox and heatherpetal before long the scents split up. She followed heatherpetal's and found her lying in the grass. She ran up to her as fast as she could with her hurt paw. "oh no heatherpetal your wet and bleeding." she said then looked around until she saw cobwebs. She put some cobwebs on the scratches. She made sure the bleeding stoped then licked her friend trying to get her dry.

Heatherpetal stirred a little at the soft attention, and she slowly blinked open her eyes, still feeling very tired and worn out. She just barely managed to muster the strength to lift up her head as she looked up at the apprentice. "Spottedpaw?..." Her voice was soft and weak.
