Dark waters

"Sorry.. Heh I sometimes stare at others.. Thets probly why the kits are a little scared of me, but who wouldnt? Just a black tom laying on a rock and staring at you, kinda freaky huh?" he laughed a little and smiled.

She smiled at his little joke. "well I don't mind it but I was wondering why?" she told him purring.

"Hmm, why? Well because they are more beautiful than you think mabye? he says and smiles.

"really all I know is that they are bright blue." she said smiling. She really didn't know her eyes where that pretty.

"Well I still think that they are pretty he said smiling.

Darkpaw smiled at his comment."ok let's please change the subject." she said giggling.

He giggled a little "Okay, so what do you wanna talk about?" he asked.

She giggled. "so we changed the subject to what we should change it to." she said laughing.

He laughed a little "Well yeah I guess we did" he said smiling.

Darkpaw laughed harder. "how about we talk about what we will do when we become warriors. I'm going to be the best hunter in the clan and get a mate then when we choose to I will have my own little kits to look after." she said smiling at wolfpaw. She didn't blush in case he knew what she was thinking but she didn't mind if he knew.

Wolfpaw smiled hopping that he was the mate she was talking about "Im going to be the best fighter in the clan and I will protect our borders with my life, and then I wanna get a mate and have kits he said "And mabye our kits could play togheter? he continued unsure if he was the mate she had been talking about.

Darkpaw felt uneasy. Maybe he didn't catch it. "umm ya they could and become friends like we are. But I was hoping you would want me as your mate. I guess there is someone else you like." she said looking down.

Wolfpaw stared at her and trys to say something but is unable to. He takes a deep breath and smiles nevously blushing alot "I wanst sure you meant me.." he said looking down.

"why wouldn't I want you. Your my best friend and I loved you since you where a kit." she said smiling. She was telling the truth so she wasn't blushing.

He looked at her for awhile and then he smiled and licked her shyly "And I loved you since the first time I saw you" he wisperd in her ear.
