Wake-Up Call

It was cold, and Sharptooth's breath could be seen as she fumbled towards the Fresh-Kill pile, grunting to herself unhappily. It was raining- nearly snowing, actually, and the cold weather made the fluffy she-cat's already aching joints much, much worse.
Sharptooth grumbled as she grabbed a piece of fresh-kill at random and ripped it's head off, swallowing it whole. Still chewing, she half-stumbled over to the Apprentice's Den.
"Alright, you little scrap!" She growled, spraying them all with pieces of the bloody mouse. "Let's get going, I don't have all day!"

Crowpaw woke up quickly and rushed out of the den. When he came out he quickly spun around and looked at his mentor "So what are we gonna do?" he asked excitedly, ignoring that she seemed to be grumpy.

Weedblaze noticed the two going out on patrol and waltzed on over. "Mind if I come along?"

Birdflight let out a small chuckle at Sharptooth's antics. She had awoken to Sharptooth grumbling about and decided to see what was happening. She padded up to Sharptooth, Crowpaw, and Weedblaze. "Hello you three. Crazy weather we're having!" She looked directly at Sharptooth. "May I join too? Maybe an extra paw will come in handy?"

Sharptooth looked around and shook herself, shooting her friend Birdflight a grin. "Fine, you two can come along." She mewed, before turning back to her apprentice. "Right, Crowpaw, how much d'you know about hunting?"

Crowpaw looked at the cats that joined them and then at his mentor again "Well I don't know that much about it, I've hunted a little with my friends so I kinda know what to do" he meowed.
