The rose hangs out with her family

Rosepaw decided today was the day she was going to hang with patchpaw and russetpaw since they didn't hang out much because of being busy. She stretched and nudged them awake. "come on guys today I saw the day we hang out." she said then left the apprentice den. She sat down and waited for them.

Patchpaw woke up when she was nudged by Rosepaw. "Okay! C'mon Russetpaw! Let's not keep Rosepaw waiting!" she purred while leaving the den to meet her sister outside. When her sister wasn't behind her, she went back and she harshly jabbed her in the side. "Get up lazy! We're going to have fun with Rosepaw so hurry up." with that, she quickly left.

Russetpaw grumbled and continued to sleep. She yelped and jumped up in alarm. "Okay okay i'm up! Don't lose your fur!" she grumbled. The she-cat walked out of the den and joined the other two. "Okay what are we doing?" she snapped irritated. She hated being woken up, especially by her sisters.

Rosepaw smiled at them. "well I was wondering if you guys had an idea because all I had was going hunting or explore." she said in her happy voice. She didn't mind if her sister was mad at her as long as she spent time with them. Besides her mentor said she could have the day off since it was family business. That was the best part about having her dad as a mentor she got to hang out with fam.

IC: Patchpaw grinned and nodded. "Let's go explore and along the way we could hunt aaaaand maybe we can practice our battle moves too!" she suggested with a knowing smirk. Russetpaw really only liked to battle and get her claws twisted which Patchpaw really never understood. Patchpaw really related with Rosepaw but she hung out more with Russetpaw.

Russetpaw rolled her eyes and sighed. Her two sisters were mouse-brained. "I don't have time for kit- wait what? Battle?! I'd like that!" she said with a mischevious grin. Maybe she could show them a thing or two about being a good apprentice. She immediately led them out of the camp, not waiting for Rosepaw's or Patchpaw's responses.

Rosepaw followed her sister while smiling. She knew she was a better hunter than fighter but her sisters could probably help with that. "hey guys since I'm bad at fighting I was wondering if any of you was bad at hunting so we can teach each other." she said smiling.

OOC: lol don't ask me why I just love all my characters smiling, I'm sad for Rosepaw/Petal all my characters have crushes but her lol.

OOC: Don't worry! She'll find love soon! It takes time :)

Patchpaw nodded in agreement. "Yeah! I'm alright in hunting so I could use some practice." She turned to Russetpaw. "What about you? Are you bad at hunting? Maybe Rosepaw and I can teach you.~" she said in a teasing voice. The apprentice liked to rile up the grump that is her sister.

Russetpaw shook her head. 'Where do these dumb ideas come from?' she asked herself bitterly. When Patchpaw insulted her hunting she turned around with a growl. "What?! I'm MUCH better than you so I may as well teach you!" she hissed angrily. The she-cat stuck her nose up and stomped away. She'll show them...

OOC: the only thing in fighting I have trouble is remembering the moves
OC: Rosepaw watched as her sister stomped off. She smelled a mouse and decided to go after it instead of her. She could hunt alone while Rosepaw showed how good she was. She stalked the mouse and when she saw it she stopped. The mouse was looking up so she waited till it started to eat then sh epounced. The mouse tried to get away but she killed it before it could. She brought the limp mouse to her sister. "here you go you must be hungry." she said placing the mouse on the ground.

Patchpaw nodded a thanks. She took a bite of the freshkill and passed some to Rosepaw. "I'll go hunt for Russetpaw now. You can hunt another piece for the clan!" With that she was off. Patchpaw found a large frog a few paces away. She crouched and soon pounced it. She missed and sighed. When she looked up she gasped. It was a racoon. The creature was ugly and large. She backed away and called Rosepaw. "Rosepaw! There's a racoon! Help me!" She ran up to it and knocked it down. She began to rake its belly.

Russetpaw had gone a long way from where she left her sisters. She decided to bring three pieces of prey to show her sisters that she's a great hunter. The she-cat found herself stalking a mouse. The apprentice then pounced. The she-cat growled under her breath and walked away. She soon heard her sister call. Russetpaw ran back as fast as she could.

Russetpaw let out a battle cry and flung herself at the attacker. She held onto its back and scratched it without mercy. "Never touch my sisters again you filthy rat!" Russetpaw turned to Rosepaw. "Rosepaw! Scratch its belly again! I'll hold it down! Patchpaw is hurt so also make sure she's safe!"
