The Talk (Featherheart and Flamepelt Only, unless you ask to join)

Flamepelt padded over to the river and sat down. He glanced around for his mate. She had been acting weird every since Venomkit was born and he wanted to know why. He planned on talking to her and hopefully get the answer to his mystery.

Featherheart padded up and nuzzled her mate.

Flamepelt purred when he saw his mate and nuzzled her back. "We need to talk." He told her.

"About what?"She purred.

Flamepelt sighed and nuzzled her. "What's wrong with you? You've been acting weird ever since Venomkit was bored." He had always thought it was a little weird how only one kit was born.

Featherheart broke away from him. "Flame...You know I love you to death, and I wouldn't ever do anything to hurt you in any way, shape or form, but...."She hesitated, afraid of his reaction."We have another kit. It's not just Venomkit."

Flamepelt nodded, uderstanding that she loved him and would never want to hurt him. "But what?" When she told him, his face was was shocked and confused. "What? You can't be serious? Don't lie to me Featherheart."

Featherheart put her paw on his and gazed into his eyes. "Why would I ever lie to you?"She started to tear up. "His name is Bramblekit, and I gave him away to ShadowClan..."She whispered, tears running down her cheek.

Flamepelt looked at her, shocked and betrayed. He looked away from her a tear escaping from his eyes. "And you never told me?" He shook his head. He had trusted her and she lied about them having another kit. He shook his head.

Featherheart could only nod, wishing the incident could have been completely avoided. She was nearly bursting with tears now.

Flamepelt sighed and looked at her. He nuzzled her neck. "Why did you do it, my love?" He asked her, softly.

"I don't know, The clan would be packed, and he was...he was just ShadowClan material." Featherheart cheered up a little, and nuzzled her mate.

Flampelt sighed. "So...you saw evil in him?" All his evil memories flashed back, when he had killed so many things and been so wrong, joining Tiger and torturing things. He shook his head and sighed. "It's my fault."

Flamepelt shook his head and sighed. He didn't know what to think. "How am I supposed to act normal when...I know I have a son out there...and I have no idea what he's doing or where he is?" He shook his head.
