A regular ol' patrol (closed)

Sitting near the camp entrance, Ryecloud waited for some cat to join him. A slightly chilly, early morning Leaffall breeze ruffled his fur as he sat in silence. The disfigured tom had been abruptly woken up from a pain shooting up his left hind leg and while part of him had wanted to go see the clan's medicine cat about it, he decided not to, seeing that he probably wouldn't have been able to explain it well enough. So here he was, the lonely, awkward tom who woke up before sunrise way too often.

Swiftstep had gotten out of the warrior's den with a small yawn. He looked around and suddenly noticed a familiar tom waiting for others to probably head on a patrol. Swiftstep beamed seeing his old mentor. He quickly walked up to the older tom with a friendly smile. "Hello Ryecloud! How are you?" He sat beside the tom and took in a breath of fresh leaffall breeze waiting for him to answer.

OOC: I'm just gonna close the topic and post 'cause I wanna get this done.

IC: Hearing a familiar voice, Ryecloud turned his head to see Swiftstep approaching, one of his former apprentices. "Goob," the crooked jawed tom mewed. Standing up and looking around, it didn't look like anyone else was going to join them so he decided that they'd best get going. "Ready to bo?" he asked, turning to the other tom.

Swiftstep nodded and waited for the older tom to lead.

Standing up, Ryecloud gave his pelt a shake. Not saying a word, the grey and white warrior limped out of camp and into the wilderness where he led them to their first destination, the Thunderpath. "Vet's patrol ba Thunderbath borber first," the crooked jawed tom mewed, trying to make his words as clear as possible for Swiftstep to understand.
