Latin is pretty cool, even if people don't speak it. It is classical, and once you know some of it you'd be surprised at how often its roots are used- from english words to magical spells in Harry Potter.

i actually still want to learn french but also i barely speak english

i can tolerate latin because my mother and teacher both say that, if i ever decide to study a different language, latin will help me because most languages today derive from latin (even if it is a "dead language").
i know it'll help me, i just really hate it.

I'm going to take Latin next year, and I'm actually really excited. They have tenses for like everything (which I find cool) and over 50% of English comes from Latin. If you learn Latin, it becomes really easy to learn Spanish, French, and Italian, as well as broadening your understanding of English.

Also, how is it possible to hate math? It's the most fun ever! Or maybe it's just my math teacher.
