The Berry Falls (Closed for plots peeps!!)

Berrykit lay in a puddle of his own blood he couldn't open his eyes or really he couldn't move any part of him. His limbs won't respond and his breathing came in short gasps as it felt like his lungs were giving out on him. He lay under a tree that he already knew with grass under him, but he didn't know that time has passed since he has laid there. Now it was midday the sun was going down and he wondered if every breath was going to be his last.

All he wanted was to be an apprentice. He was already as big as the others why did he had to wait another moon for? He was ready now why wait? Without telling anybody he found a hole leading to the great outside and slid through with no hesitation. At first it was amazing all the new sights and smells met him, it was like a whole different world right outside camp walls. His eyes couldn't take it all in.

But of course something had to ruin it, he heard a rustle of bushes and thought at first it was a patrol and he was going to scare them. They wouldn't have any clue. But as the sound became louder and a new scent rushed towards him he knew it wasn't any cat. Something rushed at him before he could even process what it was. All he felt was pain, unimaginable pain as the badger tore him to shreds. He called out with all his might he tried fighting back he tried anything he could think of but nothing would work against the mighty beast. Eventually he gave up, he thought this was how he was going to die. But suddenly it stopped, his nightmare stopped.

His eyes took the most damage he couldn't even tear them open, all he could see was darkness. And that is what he will see for the rest of his life. But for now he felt like this was the end. He couldn't cry out he couldn't move he couldn't do anything but pray to Starclan they wouldn't take him this early. He wasn't even able to become an apprentice yet! It won't be fair if they take him now. It took all his willpower just to breath.

Leafstorm paced the camp anxiously. Something wasn't right, he could feel it. He ducked into the nursery and felt a rush of relief when he saw Briarkit sleeping there.

But where was Berrykit?

He scrambled into the small den, pushing other cats aside as he searched high and low. Where was he?
With a squeeze he tore out of the nursery, running full speed through camp and ducking into various dens, giving no heed to the indignant sleepers. "Berrykit? Berrykit!"
Hysterical now he began to rummage through nests, pulling them to pieces. Finding nothing he once again raced to the heart of camp, approaching cats at random.
"Have you seen Berrykit?" He mewed desperately. "Have you seen my son?"
