Ferretkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Leopardstar climbed the Jaggedrock again and called the summons. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey join here beneath the Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!"

Ferretkit snapped her head up to the leader's call. She gave a confused look to her mother. "It's your apprentice ceremony!" Her mother whispered. Ferretkit immediately bounced up, and bounded over to the Jaggedrock.

Leopardstar spotted the kit standing by and began the ceremony. "Ferretkit, step forward." He meowed, looking over the crowd. "You have reached the age of six moons and are ready to begin training. From this moment until you receive your warrior name, you shall be called Ferretpaw. Silentsorm will be your mentor. I know he will train you well." He finished, nodding to the warrior.

Ferretpaw beamed at her new mentor. She scrambled over to him, excitement blazing in her eyes.
