A Patrol [[Open]]

Cloudroar padded towards the entrance to camp, following the familiar scent of the forest, before settling down to wait for others to join him.

Rosepaw yawned with boredom she sat up from her spot underneath a tree and scanned the clearing. When she saw her brother she instantly growled, she couldn't understand why he gets to be a warrior and not her. But an idea popped up in her mind maybe if she goes on a patrol with him and shows off her skills that is as good as any warrior he might tell her father that she deserves to be a warrior! Getting to her paws she padded slowly to Cloudroar with a roll of her eyes and shrugging trying to make it look like she doesn't care any. "Are you going on a patrol, Cloudroar?"

"Yeah, are you? I need to stretch my legs," said Dandeliondapple, implying that she wanted to join.

Lionpaw, resting by the apprentices' den, glanced up to see a small group of cats gathering. They were all clan cats, and although he was familiar with Dandeliondapple, he wanted to meet the others formally and maybe get more comfortable with some of the cats of SkyClan. "May I join you?" Lionpaw asked politely after walking across camp. He smiled kindly at Dandeliondapple, always glad to hang out with her, even if she dragged him into trouble every now and then.

Cloudroar purred warmly as his sisters scents wafted around him, "Of course." He meowed gruffly. His sisters, brothers, and father were the only cats that he showed his warm, affectionate side to. They loved him even with his 'disability' and for that, he loved them even more than he would have had he not been blind. His warm expression changed to one of indifference as Lionpaw, one of the tribe cats, joined them. "Sure." He responded to the young tom. At that, he turned and headed out into the territory with a flick of his fluffy white tail.

Rosepaw was about to be sick at her brother's purr. Her eyes went dark as she stared at him, she wanted to shout at him but knew better then to do that in the middle of camp. And that won't make her a warrior any faster she knew. She tried to calm herself the best she could as she inwardly smiled as Dandeliondapple joined them. Even she gets to be a warrior and not her. She was apprentice when Dandeliondapple was a kit. Her claws unsheathed into the dirt as she glared at the warrior. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. As she was about to say she changed her mind Cloudroar turned away and headed out. She took a deep breath, she shouldn't be so quick to anger despite how her feelings were. After all that's not how warriors act. So she kept her head low and sheathed her claws her eyes still had that darkness but she tried not to show it as they headed out.

Dandeliondapple gave a soft smile at Lionpaw, just as glad as him that they were both going on this patrol together. Once Cloudroar swished through the camp entrance, she followed. She silently promised Rippedsky that she would avoid trouble.

The Tribe apprentice's ears swiveled backwards slightly at the other tom's apparent disinterest and the unfamiliar she-cat's silence, unsure how to react in this awkward social situation. Was he supposed to say something else to them? Only Dandeliondapple seemed to really take note of his presence. Still a bit uncomfortable, Lionpaw followed after the clan cats and stuck close to Dandeliondapple's side, saying optimistically and to no one in particular, "It's a great day today. I'm sure there will be plenty of prey out." Lionpaw didn't know what kind of patrol the group was on, but hopefully the subject of prey and weather would at least lead to light conversation.
