Cricketkits first day of school.mov (open)

Cricketkit sat crouched in the nursery, squinting as the light that poured in through the entrance obscured his vision. Nervousness welled in his chest as he gathered up as much courage as he could and stepped out into the camp, branches tugging at his pelt. His tail stood up straight as he swept his gaze apprehensively over the clearing. There's so much stuff, the silver and white kit thought to himself.

Cloudkit came bouncing out of the nursery "Hi Cricketkit"

"Oh hi Cloudkit!" Cricketkit mewed. He looked back over the camp again. "ThunderClans huge! There's so much stuff to look at!"

A large she-cat slunk out of the medicine cats den, far larger than any cat with rat bites and cuts littering her face and legs where her long fur thinned. Her ears pressed against the back of her head, one with claw marks marring it and the other with a set of rat bites. Her heavy head turned and revealed a blind eye, fox teeth marks stretching down that side of her face as she looked at the two chattering kittens.

She was tempted to poke at them a little bit but her belly rumbled as she was set back on track, her eyes on a nice meal. Digging around until she had grabbed a squirrel she turned to pad towards a particularly sunny spot, the early morning sun pleasing compared to the scorching heat that was the rest of the day. Slumping down she pinched it between her paws and starting eating, an eye always on the kits.

Cricketkit watched the much larger cat nervously. What if she eats kits, he thought. He quickly decided no one could ever eat a kit and walked up to her cautiously, sure to keep a distance between them. "I haven't seen you before! I'm Cricketkit," he chirped

Cloudkit padding neverously behind Cricketkit "and I'm C-Cloudkit" she said shyly
