Darkpaw's Hunting Patrol

Snakeblaze walked around the camp and looked at the apprentice den. He walked over and poked his head in. "Darkpaw, I wanted to do a hunting patrol." he said.

Darkpaw jumped at his mentor's mew "What?! Oh yes, fine I'm going on!" The black Apprentice said, with her tone with a bit of shame. She then walked towards the Clan's exit and looked at Snakeblaze, like waiting for him.


OOC: Sorry, I was on tablet :P

Snakeblaze nodded. He turned around and headed towards ShadowClan territory.

Darkpaw followed him on silence to Shadowclan territory, her nose started to smell the strong scent of prey.

In the territory, Snakeblaze felt the scent of prey hit his nose. That was when he stopped. "Here, this is how you do the hunting crouch." he said, dropping down. His belly was just above the marsh. "You try it, and follow me." he added, starting to move forward. He followed the scent trail of a toad. He spotted the creature sitting there. He leaped forward and caught it in between his paws, and quickly killed it. He picked it up in his jaws and brought it back. "Did you catch that?" he asked through his toad. He went over and buried it in some soil that was only a little moist.

Darkpaw, nodded at her mentor, after seeing him catching that, squirrel scent hit her nose, Darkpaw followed the scent, then crouched down and started to move forward, not making any noise. With a swift move, the black Apprentice, leaped over it and bit it with her strong jaws.

She then, trotted towards Snakeblaze, showing to him, her great catch.

Snakeblaze blinked at Darkpaw's squirrel. Must have wandered in from ThunderClan. He scented a lizard. He dropped down and crept up. He leaped over, and the lizard ran. He chased it, but it got away. He looked at Darkpaw. "Bad example." he said with a chuckle.

Darkpaw giggled a bit,  then lashed her tail with proud ''So,  it's my catch okay? She asked,  lowering her head and green gaze, fearing Snakeblaze wouldn't approve her catch.

Snakeblaze nodded."It is difficult for ShadowClan cats to catch squirrels, since they aren't common. You'll be a fine hunter." he praised his apprentice. "Let's get one more piece of fresh-kill, then we'll go back to camp." he said. He dropped down and smelled lizard. He stalked around until he saw it. He moved a fox-length around it until the wind blown from his side. He pounced and caught the lizard. He killed it and brought it back. He buried it with his frog. "Do you want to catch something else, or should we go?" he asked.

Darkpaw sighed in relief at Snakeblaze's answer,  at his question Darkpaw dropped her squirrel and let out a mew "With this will be enough,  maybe,  another Shadowclan hunting patrol had catched already something by other way"She then picked up the dead squirrel between her jaws.

Darkpaw,  turned to go to Shadowclan's camp,  but looked at her mentor,  waiting for him.


OOC: Now,  she just need Battle practice and then she can be a Warrrior.

Snakeblaze nodded, got his frog and his lizard and walked back to camp.

OOC: I'll make battle training soon.

Darkpaw, followed her mentor with her black tail high and wagging side to side
