A Willow Full of Petals [[Open]]

Willowpetal woke in her comfy nest, her fluffy body wrapped around her small kits. The first looked like her, but with short fur instead like her father. Willowpetal had named her Brightkit for her bright white coat. The next kit had been a silver pelted she-cat who she had named Lichenkit after the silver colored Lichen that grew on the trees and rocks around their territory. The third had been a dark furred tom with white toes. He had a very long tail and legs, for which was the reason he was named, Tallkit. The last kit had been a calico tom, which she named Creamkit for his cream colored patches. She was full of love and affection for her four small bundles of fur. Her first kitting had gone smoothly and she was extremely grateful. "Wake up, my loves. You don't wanna sleep the day away, do you?" She cooed softly, nudging each kit in turn. Their eyes had opened not too long ago, and she felt they were ready for a supervised exploration of camp.

Creamkit heard his mother calling to wake up, and he opened his eyes, squinting against the bright light flooding in through the gaps in the nursery. He quietly nudged his siblings awake with one paw. "Wake up, we're going to explore!" He said nervously, but excited.

Brightkit was sleeping soundly and tried her best at forst to ignore her mother and brother's nudging but when Creamkit mentioned exploring she peaked up curiously. "Exploring?" She asked excitedly as she stretched fully awake at the idea of getting out of the nursery. She looked up at her mother hopefully. "Are we really going to go exploring?" She asked.

Lichenkit rolled out her of nest with her fur a mess. The she-cat looked all out of it as she toddled after her siblings.

Willowpetal purred softly as her kits stirred. "Alright now. Off you go. It's time to meet your clanmates." She meowed gently, her sing-song voice traveling delicately through the air. She nudged her small kits out of the nursery entrance and into the brightness of camp. It might take some time for their sensitive eyes to adjust to the lighting, but she knew they would be running around camp eagerly looking for trouble in no time at all. As they adjusted to their new surroundings and began to venture off, she remembered her fascination with the medicine cat den. "And don't go wandering into the den with the funny smells! It's dangerous and you wouldn't want to get caught under Cloudstone's paws!" She called after them.
