Rowanpaw padded towards Fourtrees with his patrol, his whiskers to the ground. He yawned as he looked over his shoulder to make sure Blazeflight and Gingerpaw were following close behind. He shook his head, his nose twitching. What was that he smelled?

Flowerpaw stayed near the end of her patrol, trailing behind Willowpetal and Batpaw. She looked around at the scenery with interest- it looked like they were going towards Fourtrees. She flicked her ears, craning her neck suddenly. Was it just her, or did a twig snap?

Leafpaw sighed as he headed towards Fourtrees, Maplecloud and Dawnpaw following close behind. This was yet another one of his patrols- and a boring one at that. He was itching to get in a fight, or at least do something. He narrowed his bright green eyes. It was probably just a trick of the light, but he was sure he saw something moving.

The charcoal cat was following the warrior with a serious look. His days as an apprentice had been quite boring since his mentor wasn't around too much but at least he could join some patrols and help, even if he didn't know too much Flowerpaw and Willowpetal.
His ears twitched after a strange noise emerged from the woods, near to the Fourtrees. He noticed that the other apprentice also noticed that and he lowered a bit his body, trying to keep his silhouette undercover. That sound wasn't from any prey... it was a cat. Batpaw smelled the air to be sure about what he thought and then realized that it wasn't just one cat... The apprentice unsheathed his claws a bit, wondering if the other clan cats had bad intentions. The Tom was ready to fight if it was necessary and wouldn't allow that a bunch mouse-brained would beat them so easily if a battle started.

Leafpaw hissed as he saw more movement- there would be only one way to be sure of who they were, and to possible scare them out of hiding. "What are you doing here, ? kittypets?" he taunted. "I thought you were afraid to show your stupid faces."
He was certain that they weren't kittypets, but it was the only way to figure out who they actually were, right?

Flowerpaw look up indignantly- all the stress of finding a mentor, and being alone every day had taken a toll on her. She snapped. Maybe if she beat these silly cats in a fight, Riverclan would respect her."Kittypet?" She spat, her ears swiveling around as she heard more movement. "Listen to you! You're the kittypet. Only a silly Twoleg-lover could insult a Riverclan cat like that!"

Stonepaw had not been having a good day. Finding out his best friend's friend is evil with all her being depressed him. She had unleashed cruel words that hit too close to home, and made doubt settle in the pit of his stomach. He didn't feel like a good warrior, let alone a good cat. But now that he knew Laurelpaw's true nature, Stonepaw never felt so unworthy to tell Nectarleap, his best friend, the news about Laurelpaw being not what she seemed. The gray tom followed his patrol through the calm, familiar open moor of Windclan territory uncharacteristically distracted, his thoughts circling through the she-cat's too true points.

When the large gray tom realized they were all the way to fourtress, Stonepaw blinked. His yellow eyes widened at the different clan patrols yelling at each other. What were they doing at fourtress if it isn't the full moon? He blinked again at the insults being thrown around. Why were they calling each other kittypets? His eyes narrowed with suspicion. Were they here to invade a clan's territory? His fur began to rise. He had to protect his clan from them!

Dawnpaw growled. "If you wanna fight then just come out where we can see you and we'll go ahead and fight! I'm not afraid of you!"

OOC: What are the teams, and how's the fiht gonna work? Is it going to be two clans vs two clans or just a free-for-all?

Cheetahpaw had been on said patrol with Stonepaw. The long legged she cat was pricked as she heard a commotion before she seen it.

@Luvable We're going to fight in teams- Thunderclan and Windclan are going to fight Riverclan and Shadowclan cats. Once our opponents are established, we'll get a posting order.

Rowanpaw hissed, his ears back. What did those Thunderclan cats think they were doing? He strode forward, his eyes narrowed. "You might not be afraid of them, but you should be afraid of [i][me/i] He mewed quietly, his voice dripping with venom.
