The Weed and the Day (closed)

Daypaw hugged and stuck his younger out of his mouth as he weaved sticks into the camp wall like his mentor and his adopted mother Blizzardshine showed him how. He sighed as he looked at how much he had to finish. Sticking another piece of gorse into the sticks to keep out the cold he really hoped that the camp wall would grow back soon. After many long hours of patching up the den walls in was late afternoon now and the gray and brown tom was hungry. He padded over to the prey pile and looked for somebody to share this vole with. Daypaw saw his little adopted brother Weedkit and called him over.

Weedkit bounded on over on his little kit-legs.

"Daypaw! Did you fix the draft in the nursery?" he asked.

Daypaw smiled. "Yeah I did. Wanna share this vole with me?" He meowed flicking his tail and sitting down.
