Tawny's relaxing Day or is it(open)

It had been a few days since her mother's death,her and Echopaw's argument,her assessment and then her warrior ceremony. It was overwhelming to the newly made warriors. Grief still gung over the she cat like a dark veil and sometimes the loneliness beside her brothers being there for her was overwheming. She sighed as she laid just outside the Warriors den. Tawnypool's eyes scanned the camp which was bustling about with warriors and apprentices and playful kitten.

Badgerpaw felt rather lucky in his hunting as he padded into camp with a prideful expression. Dropping a newt and a blackbird into the fresh-kill pile, the young tom looked towards the Apprentices' den, his green eyes indicating for rest. As Badgerpaw made his way, a flash of white fur attracted his attention towards the Warriors' den as he spotted Tawnypaw- no, Tawnypool. The she-cat looked glum as Badgerpaw remembered the terrible loss of her mother Ambernose and the argument between her and her sister. Badgerpaw watched the commotion from the Apprentices' den at the time as he didn't want to admit that he felt fear from his former den mates' fury.

The tom wanted to ignore, but his white paws leaded him towards the lone warrior. He couldn't help but see to his Clanmate's faint expression. Approaching the Warriors' den, the tom realised that he felt slightly jealous that Tawnypool had the honour to reach warrior status, even if she was more experienced than him. "You okay, Tawnypool?" he found himself asking after clearing his throat. Of course she's not okay, mouse-brain! he silently winced as he cursed at himself.

The white warrior blinked as Badgerpaw came over. She was quiet for a moment benefits she lift ed her white face looking to him."I'm...doing fine..."She mewed shifting her black paws slight. It was obviously a lie but she wasn't one to admit she still was grieving.

Badgerpaw felt concerned for the warrior. He wasn't the comforting or sympathetic type, but if any ShadowClan cat were to suffer, he would count on himself to bring them back to their paws. The tone of Tawnypool's saddened voice showed that she was not one for a good conversation at the moment. The tom awkwardly looked towards the Apprentices' den, longing for some rest, but he surprisingly prioritised the grieving, silent she-cat over his own needs. Sitting down beside Tawnypool, his distant eyes looked across the ShadowClan camp from Tawnypool's view, watching the warriors and apprentices busy with their routines. "Ambernose forgives you," he began, thinking back to the incident. "I'm sure that she's proud of you. You know that she's still with you, watching in StarClan." Badgerpaw braced himself from getting his ears clawed off at the topic of Tawnypool's dead mother. What am I doing?

Duskpaw, who had been eating by the fresh-kill pile, padded over to Tawnypool after hearing Badgerpaw's words. "Badgerpaw is right, Ambernose is watching you, she's watching all of us!" Trying to encourage both of them he tried to say the words without his voice quavering. He nodded to Badgerpaw, thanking him for his words. Padding closer to Tawnypool, he started to stroke the new warriors back with his tail.

Blazeflight had walked in on an odd conversation, Tawnypool- one of the newer warriors- was grieving over her mother, Ambernose, and it seemed as if she was receiving assurance from some apprentices. Sometimes, though, it took one from your own rank to get more comfort. Someone who understood what was going on from experience with it. She padded up beside the newly appointed warrior, laying beside her and nuzzling her cheek gently. "Don't you worry, Tawnypool. You know she's alright now. I'm here for you whenever you may need me." She purred, trying her best to comfort the much younger warrior with her words. She could only hope that she actually helped, not made it worse. She thought that maybe she should change the subject, to get Tawnypool's mind off of the subject of her mother. "Now, I know you may not be up fo it, but why don't we give these apprentices here a good patrol, so you can get out and stretch your legs. What'd ya say?" She meowed thoughtfully.
