The SRBR rp

SRBR:
Python yawned and hopped out of his den into the rocky cave the SRBR called their home. There weren't any new trainees to test that day, so Python knew he should enjoy a break from that. There would probably be more soon, as there was at the beginning of every summer. He decided to make use of his time, and start making lesson plans. He started sketching out diagrams for teaching swimming in the soil, wondering how his students would respond to it.

June wandered out of her den, not feeling up to the day of training ahead of her. She felt like that everyday, so she knew neither her trainer of her leader would care she groaned and started towards the training cave, careful to look as sleepy as possible.

Storm hopped out of the den, pausing to give her ear a pensive scratch before exploring the rest of camp, which had been bathed in sunlight. A new day brings many new changes, She thought to herself as she checked over the camp.

Wilson pressed his ears back against his head, hopping through the tunnels of the SRBR. Some of the cave systems were cramped and too low down, and he nearly had to make arrangements just to get through some of them. Sadly, the cave he shared with Razzie was down one of those thin pathways. He was grateful when he reached the end of that particular tunnel, one last hop putting him out in the open. His large ears twitched somewhat, perked upright--two others were already outside. "Good morning and hello!" He called out cheerily.

Valencia drug a claw over the stone, thoughtfully watching the pale mark she left behind. Her ears twitched at the sound of stops, and she moved to peer around the next corner. One of their younger rabbits, supposedly moving towards a training cave. "Someone didn't sleep well," she remarked calmly, her stark red eyes narrowing.

Storm looked up. "Hello!" She called. She thumped her foot, digging with her front paws through a particularly sandy patch of dirt, searching for something to nibble on.

"Good morning Storm." Python nodded in greeting to the advisor, then to Wilson as the researcher hopped out. "Hello Wilson. Anyone planning on having kits anytime soon? We're in need of more young ones." Python said the last part with a slightly humorous tone, but was mostly serious. The more kits they had, the better.

June sighed, and opened her mouth to make a sarcastic remark. "Do I ever?" she said, then looked up and realized it was her leader speaking. "I mean, it isn't exactly that I didn't sleep well, it's just that I worked hard last night. That's why I stayed the whole night." Most of the time June left to sleep with her owners at night, but every so often decided to spend the night at the PineRock camp.

"Oh, kits would be good." Theodora, the lilac leader of the SRBR, vaulted out of a sedge, raring to go. The tone she had spoken in was fluffy with amusement. "Good morning all." Her knobbly tail vellicated. Her long ears perked as she nodded to Storm, sitting down amongst the rabbits. Her throat cleared, usurping encumbrance. "How are we today?" Theodora's tone was polite. Most rabbits knew that the chieftain was looking for a mate, so there could be kits, after all.

Storm flicked her ears playfully, looking up at their leader. "Morning, Theodora, The small reddish-brown rabbit called up to her. She turned back to Wilson and Python with a small grin. "Yes, kits would be nice." She said enviously. Theodora was the leader, and a rather attractive rabbit. She'd find a mate soon enough.

Storm's envious glance at Theodora was left occult by the femme. She didn't quite want to leave the conversation as a web of agreements, so she tried to think of something to speak up. Her paws lacerated the soil, left upturned, since it was a habit that Theodora had. "Any signs of trespassers?" Theodora asked Storm. The titian rabbit was chosen as co-commander for a reason. Theodora had placed much of her trust in her, and, as such, responsibility came with it too.

Storm shook her head. "I checked everything- it's all secure. Nothing but a faint smell of cat, but it was probably a twoleg-pet, so it's nothing bad.

Theodora nodded durably. "Good," she avouched. She was thankful for Storm's companionship—without it, danger on the horizon would've clambered their way to victory, dilapidating their ranks one by one. Theodora looked around at the other rabbits invitingly.

"I may send a pair of trainees to check out that cat scent," Python offered. He was rather bored with this conversation, it didn't involve much that he did. But he greatly respected his leader, so he listened and acted interested.

Wilson twitched his large ears, listening intently. He had fallen quiet when Theodora arrived, looking between the conversing rabbits carefully. "I'm glad there's been no danger," he piped up after a heartbeat, trying to sound cheery.

It was only a few moments before Razzie came rushing down a nearby tunnel. He looked as if he'd just woken up, and with his slew of apologies and "gooses-I'm-sorry-geese-were-a-little-late-but-so-was-I"s it was pretty easy to find out why. He tried not to look completely foolish and sat just next to Wilson, smiling broadly.

Storm hastily stifled a yawn. "Morning, Razzie. She said blearily.

Theodora sensed that there should be a topic change, as this conversation had skewed into nothingness. "Hi, Razzie. Good morning." Theodora's heralding for the chocolate-point rabbit was somewhat different than her greeting for the others; it sounded more casual. But the leader still dipped her head respectfully to him, as she did the others.

Razzie dipped his head in return, looking between the small gathering of rabbits. "Looks like I didn't much! Everyone looks like they just woke up," he made a noise similar to a laugh, sleep blinking from his eyes and life flooding them instead. Wilson gave his best friend a weary look, smiling levelly at him--he was nice to be around earlier in the morning, he made it easy to wake up.
