Forestkit's (Real) Apprentice Ceremony

Leopardstar stood, once again, on top of the Jaggedrock. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey join here beneath the Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" He called, pleased that there was yet another youngster beginning their journey to warriorship.

Forestkit trotted out of the den cheerfully. At last! she thought to herself. She was beginning to feel worried that it would never come, but she was no longer worried. I need to trust my leader more, she thought, taking a deep breath. She stopped beneath the Jaggedrock and stared up at Leopardstar. I wonder who my mentor will be?

Leopardstar spotted the kit standing by and began the ceremony. "Forestkit, step forward." He meowed, meeting Forestkit's young gaze with his own stern one. "You have reached the age of six moons and are ready to begin training. From this moment until you receive your warrior name, you shall be called Forestpaw. Emberfall will be your mentor. I trust she will teach you grace and bravery." He finished, nodding to the calico warrior.

She dipped her head, satisfied with Emberfall as a mentor. I won't let you down! she promised silently. I am Forestpaw!
