Mistkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Ashstar leapt onto the Tallrock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!" she yowled commandingly.

Mistkit apathetically walked up to the Highrock, hopping up to sit next to the clan's leader. She groomed a few puffy patches on her pelt while she sat waiting for the clan to gather. She tried to look for some familiar faces, like her siblings and mother. Her green eyes darted around, flinching every time she saw a grey pelt, thinking it was a relative.

Ashstar nodded approvingly at the young kit. Her great-grandkit. "Mistkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Mistpaw. Your mentor will be Jayfall. I hope she will pass down all she knows on to you."

Mistkit bowed her head, and climbed off the Highrock to meet her new mentor. In reality, she was excited, but she was careful not to show it, in case she disturbed someone.
