Whispkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Leopardstar climbed the Jaggedrock again and called the summons. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey join here beneath the Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!"

Whispkit stumbled out of the nursery and into the clearing, where her leader had just called a Clan meeting. Normally she was too young to attend these things, but she wanted to go experience one for herself. She sat quietly and waited for her leader to continue.

Leopardstar spotted the kit standing in the back and began the ceremony. "Whispkit, step forward." He meowed, meeting Whispkit's young gaze with his own stern one. "You have reached the age of six moons and are ready to begin training. From this moment until you receive your warrior name, you shall be called Whisppaw. Waspstep will be your mentor. I trust he will teach you loyalty and determination." He finished, finsing the russet tom in the crowd.
