Shadowclan Plot with Bearkit

Okay, I had a plot idea for my character, Bearkit--this needs to be approved by a moderator, I believe, so... Hi moderator, I hope this is acceptable!
So I'd like to recruit a future mate for Bearkit (he'll only be looking for toms!), and anyone else that wants to get involved in another role (friend, mentor, etc) is cool as well!
Edit: I found him a mate, but still willing to have other cats involved :)
Everyone is welcome to bring their ideas to the table :) Also, throughout this post I'll be referring to him as Bearkit, only because I don't know what his warrior name will be yet, but this will take place throughout his apprenticeship and after he becomes a warrior.
So basically, Bearkit has conflicting motivations--his desire for the people he cares about to be happy is directly in opposition to his innate urge to isolate them, so they'll only care about him, and his willingness (and his aptitude) to manipulate people to get what he wants. In all fairness, what he wants is what's best for the clan--they just don't know it yet (that's what he thinks, anyways). The storyline I'd like for him involves a volatile relationship that ultimately ends when he makes a grab for power and ends up exiled, unable to convince his mate to come with him. Or dead, either one.
So I'm assuming I would need the clan leader (and Deputy?) to be on board with this--regardless of whether Bearkit is able to take one of Leopardstar's lives, or even whether there's a fight between them, I'm just assuming any attempt by Bearkit to attack/depose Leopardstar would require Sun to be on board, regardless of Bearkit's success, or lack thereof.

I have Echokit! Maybe they can be friends? Echokit will go up to anyone and strike a conversion with them. Plus I want her to have more friends and to be in more plots anyways. But she will get frustrated at him for trying to control her.

Okay, sounds good! :D She could definitely be his friend, maybe try to be the voice of reason?

Yep! But Echokit has other siblings that will properly get dragged into this if she is.

Okay, cool! ^.^ His mate will be in Thunderclan, so that makes sense :) Do you want them to be involved in him trying to gain power (perhaps he promises them power, as well), or no?

Sorry to jump in while you're asking a question to someone, but I just wanted to let you know that I am totally up for this rp! I roleplay Echokit's brother Roaringkit. Maybe they could dislike each other, or be friends at first but have a falling out?

It's all good Wave, I'm so glad you're on board :D I like the idea of them being friends at first, but then having a falling out--maybe Roaringkit is wary of the stuff Bearkit starts saying about wanting to be in charge (and the way he plans to seek out power), so they clash over that?

Sure, I'll do my best to do that with Roaringkit. I think it would be interesting, seeing their ideologies start to clash as Bearkit starts to want to resort to things against Roaringkit's morals:)
