Amber eyes shone when Fishstar spoke to the clan. The little black she-cat walked to the willow branch in little jumps of excitement. Tinykit wondered about what all this was about. Maybe an apprentice ceremony, but she wasn't sure that it was her. She still considered herself as a small and young kit. She sat down, her tail wrapped around her paws. Flicking her ears, she tried to search for her friend, Batkit.

"What is all that noise?" The dark kit was relaxing in the beach near the water that surrounded the camp when he heard the call of the leader. He stood up yawning and came near to the place of the gathering. Batkit ignored the other cats and just sat down beside Tinykit. He said hi to her with a friendly touch of his tail and looked up to Fishstar. "Maybe is a ceremony" He said in a serious meow that hid the hope of the tom to become an apprentice soon.

Whitestream heard the leader's call and happy got out of the warrior's den. There she saw Fishstar and some other cats waiting for apprentice ceremony to begin. Warrior desperately looked into the one of apprentices, hoping that this time Fishstar would chose here for the mentor. She was sure that she would managed aprentice of her own.

Morningfog walked out into the clearing with her head low, brushing the ground as she slowly sat by her mate. She pressed her face into her mate's fur, hiding the wounds covering her face.

Things to look for:
Look closely at Pepper's text color, it changes to a lighter color as her plot progresses!
Any topic that affects a cross between Bat and Pepper will have something to do with fire.
Morningfog will occasionally have a topic that relates to mornings. These may or may not be important. It's mostly just for fun.

Smokeface's body tensed as his mate pushed her face into his shoulder. He crooked his neck and bent to hold her, a quiet pain flowering around them.

The eyes if Tinykit widened from the excitement that ran in her body. The black kit stood up, looking for a few seconds the warriors that could be her mentor. Who will be? She thought as she walked forward staring at the leader.

Batkit followed his friend when the leader called them. Finally it was his time to become an apprentice. The brown and black tom was ready to learn how to be stronger than he was now to protect the ones he cared, like Tinykit. He stopped in front of Fishstar, with chest puffed up with pride.

"These two kits have reached the age of six moons, and it time that they are apprenticed. From the this day forth, until you recieve your warrior names, you shall be known as Batpaw and Tinypaw. Your mentors Smokeface and Whitetream, respectively. May they pass down all they know to you." Fishstar nodded down at the two new apprentices, and leaped off of the branch to conclude the ceremony.

Smokeface smiled to his mate, and, after a few heartbeats of hesitation, she let go of her to touch his kuzzle to his apprentice's. "You'll be a great warrior, and I'll make sure of that." he assured the newly appointed apprentice. But as more cats came to congratulate him, he returned to Morningfog.

Whitestream slowly steped closer to the tiny kit, which name was also Tinypaw. She bowed her and then touched her nose with her new apprentice. Then she said with extremely proud tone: "I will teach you everything that Amberpelt has teached me. You would enjoy the learning." She smiled again.

Tinypaw glanced at the white warrior, trembling nervous. She tried to stay calm when her nose touched hers and smiled back at Whitestream with warm amber eyes. Her new mentor looked like a nice cat. "I will do my best to be a worthy apprentice for you." The black and white she-cat said after Whitestream talked to her.
