| Laurelkit padded out of the nursery with her head held high. Unlike other kits about to receive their apprentice names, she was not bouncing with excitement or nervous about the outcome. She held a serious, determined look on her face. Approaching the Tallrock, she gazed up at Ashstar patiently, a very slight glimmer of excitement flashing in her yellowish-green eyes. ______________________________________ |
