"Hi Honeykit." Moonmist said. She smiled and cleaned up the kit's fur a bit. "It's time you had your Apprentice ceremony. Can you guess who your mentor will be?"
"Well, let's do your ceremony then." Moonmist said. Smiling, she went on top of the Smallhill. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Smallhill for a Clan meeting! Honeykit, step forward."
"Cats of WindClan," Moonmist started, "as you know, I will not be around forever. It is time I took an apprentice. I have chosen someone who is smart and energetic, quick to learn. Your next Medicine Cat will be Honeypaw, do you accept the post as my apprentice?"
"Then at the half-moon you must travel to Mothermouth, to be accepted by StarClan before the other Medicine Cats." Moonmist touched noses with her new Apprentice, Honeypaw.
