Id rather be inside (open to all)

Smudgekit opened his eyes slowly, blinking to adjust to the early morning light that streamed in through cracks in the nursery walls. He got up and shook the moss from his fur. Sitting down to groom his pelt, he was aware of kits and their mothers still asleep around him. His nest was empty, as he was the only one who slept in it. His mother had died during childbirth, but that was all he knew about her. He didn't know what she looked like, or even her name. No one would talk about her, it was if suddenly she just didn't exist. No father had come to claim him as their own, but he had been reassured he was made up of pure Thunderclan blood. He felt like an outcast to the rest of the clan, as he did not have a family. He was such a small, scrawny cat. Kits younger than he was towered over him. He didn't have any friends, and none of the queens payed any attention to him. The mother that had let him suckle for milk had kicked him away as soon as he was old enough. Smudgekit hadn't even been out of the nursery yet. Today was the day he would finally explore camp for the first time. His excitement bubbled, but a knot of anxiety worked his way into his stomach. He stepped out to the edge of the nursery opening and crouched down in the shadows, too scared to actually step out and explore camp. For now he would sit and observe from a distance.

Sparrowpaw grumbled as she exited the Elders' Den, moss bile muffling the inappropriate words spewing from her mouth. She hated checking the elders for ticks, it was the worst part of being an apprentice, according to Sparrowpaw. She didn't even like the stories the elders told! So boring.

Falconpaw sniffed at a mouse at the bottom of the pile, wrinkling his nose. It definitely wasn't good anymore. He carried it to the dirtplace. Then, he noticed a kit staring out the nursery. Barely bigger than a kit himself, he recognized the look of nervousness in the younger's eyes. He gave a nervous smile and trotted over or.. well.. tried to. He tripped halfway. After a moment, he stood up and glanced around before he closed the distance. The scrawny appreciate looked down at him, only slightly bigger. "Y-you okay?"

Smudgepaw, lost in his own thoughts, had not seen Falconpaw trip. The sound of the apprentice' voice startled him, causing him to jump. The Kit's claws came out and his eyes went wide before realizing it was just one of his clanmates. He kept his nervous gaze on the ground and his voice came out in almost a whisper," i..i..i'm..f..fine" Smudgekit's tail lashed out in anger. The first cat he meets besides kits and queens and he was already stuttering.
