"Sparkkit, please step forward." The deputy said. Sparkkit stepped forward. "You have reached the age of six moons and are now ready to be apprenticed. From this day forth, until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Sparkpaw. Your mentor will be Lilacfeather. I trust her to teach you well." With that the ceremony was over and Ivyfall hopped off the willow branch to have Sparkpaw lick her shoulder politely before running off to see her mentor. - The better version:

With dat tha ceremony was over n' Ivyfall hopped off tha willow branch ta have Sparkpaw lick her shoulder politely before hustlin off ta peep her mentor.

| Snowpaw smiled when she heard that her sister Sparkpaw had been assigned the same mentor as her. They could patrol together all the time now! The fluffy white apprentice ran over to congratulate her newly apprenticed sister.
Shellwater watched with a purr as another of her kits grew older. Sparkpaw was everything that Shellpaw had been and more.
