Dreamkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to capture their... own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

As Dreamkit heard the call the she cat smiled and quietly groomed her cream and dark fur smiling some. Her blue eyes bright and eager for what was to come. After she had groomed herself she came scampering from the den eyes alight. She pushed her way through the growing crowd of cats and sat down

Leopardfang, who had actually been doing the ceremony the entire time, looked down at Dreamkit and flicked his tail. He began saying the proper words after everyone had gathered. "Dreamkit, step forward. You have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to begin your training. From this day forward, you will be known as Dreampaw and your mentor will be Duneclaw. I hope he passes on all of his knowledge to you." He said and finished the ceremony.

Dreampaw smiled eagerly and looked to her mew mentor

Duneclaw was shocked at first, but then went and touched noses with Dreamkit. He was surprised he was chosen, and he hoped he would do well in mentoring her.
