The Heather Rolls in(open)

Heatherkit stirred in the nest beside her sibling and mother. She glanced to Echokit then her mother Twistedtail before she slowly god to her paws and scampered to the nursery entrance. Dark gray Danny and ginger tabbied legs moved quietly as she came to the opening of the nursery. She looked out for a moment before she scampered out tail high.

Echokit had, of course, felt his sister move and sighed before following her, he wanted to make sure she'd be okay. Trotting out after her, he smiled and meowed "Hey wait for me! I want to meet some people too!" He flicked his tail happily and looked at her with curiosity in his eyes. He'd never been out of the nursery, he'd always been too scared to actually step out, so he couldn't help his gaze wandering around the camp. It was a new experience for him, and he had no idea where to start

Twistedtail smiled weakly as her kits tumbled out of the nursery. They were such a pawful on their own, let alone causing trouble in camp. They reminded her of their father, Shadewil-. No. She would not remind herself of the handsome Shadowclan tom who fathered her kits. It was too sad. Why did she have to love him...

Shaking herself from her thoughts, she called to them as they left, "Don't cause any trouble, you two!"

Heatherkit shook her fur out a bit and looked to her brother before she heard her mother and blinked"we won't momma"Heayherkit mewed before she looked around camp wide eyed.

Echokit nodded to Twistedtail, before looking back at Heatherkit
"Where'd you wanna go? We can go anywhere we want!" Not strictly true, but he was sure nobody would mind them just exploring a little bit. They were kits after all. "I know! I wanna see the medicine den. Come on, pretty please?"

Heatherkit blinked then slowly nodded"alright fine but after I wanna check out the leaders den"she mewed with a grin"I'm going to be leader one day"she mewed tail held straight up.

He laughed kindly
"And I can be your deputy right? We can lead Windclan together!" Smiling he lead her over to the medicine cat's den and peeked inside, looking to see if anyone was there. Seeing nobody, he trotted inside and sneezed, twitching his ear with slight irritation
"I don't like it in here, the herbs smell too strong" he rubbed his nose with a paw, trying not to sneeze again. Still, the den wasn't as big as he thought, nor were the herb stocks as much as he'd hoped. Approaching them he frowned
"Wow, there's not much here at all. I guess that's because it's leaf-bare though, right?"

Heatherkit smiled chest puffed out"of course who else would I have at my side"she mewed before she scamper after him. She looked around and nodded slowly"Yeah has to be"she mewed.
