An Outbreak of Tiger and Spots (Open I guess?)

Tigerkit woke up in the nursery of the ThunderClan camp. It was a bright, cold, snowy day in the forest and he was ready to play and explore. But he needed someone to play and explore with. He looked in the nursery and spotted a calico she-kit and padded towards her. With a friendly voice he said, "Hi what's your name?"

Green eyes flashed open as pawsteps sounds around her. Her ears flicked forward and she quickly took in her surroundings. She nest she lay in was warm and cozy, moss lined  with feathers. Her eyes found the Dark brown speckled pelt of another Thunderclan kit. She blinked and stood up shaking the moss and feathers from her pelt. "hi what's your name?" She blinked warmly at him and stepped out of her nest. "I'm Spottedkit" She purred and flicked her black tail up and over her back. Her long fur gleamed in the sunlight cutting through the den through the entrance. The white stood out like snow against the black spots. "Who are you?" She asked politely tilting her head to the side.

ic: Tigerkit watched the other kit stand up and saw the bright sunlight shining on her bright white, black spotted pelt. "I can defiantly see that. " He said before answering "I'm Tigerkit." Even though they were denmates, this was his first time speaking to Spottedkit because mostly kits just nap when they are not outside playing.

Spottedkit

Spottedkit's green eyes narrowed and she purred flicking her whiskers forward in a smile. "I can defiantly see that. I'm Tigerkit" She looked at the young tome taking in his dark brown pelt and flecks through his soft kitten fur. She tilted her head slightly and stared into his eyes "I thought Tigers were striped" She mewed blinking at him. She turned away and looked out through the entrance. "We should go play outside. Do you think we are allowed?" She asked turning her green orbs back on him. Her face was open and honest. I don't want to get in trouble...but I don't want to wake mother either She thought.[/b]

"My pelt is striped, silly it just has some darker flecks that make it look like it doesn't have stripes." Tigerkit chuckled. He saw a snowflake fly in the den from outside and perked up. "Yes! Let's go play outside." He shouted. He wasn't all sure if they were allowed to be out playing right now, but he was going out anyway.

"Oh!" she mewed, Widening her eyes and flicking her ears forward "Yes I see them now!" She let out a rumbling purr and turned back to her mother sleeping one more time. "Yes! Let's go play outside" Finally excitement washed over her and she couldn't contain her energy any longer. She leaped straight up in the air and then raced forward as soon as her paws hit the earth. Brushing past Tigerkit she flicked him with her tail and yowled "Race you to the high rock!" Her paws churned under her as she raced out of the den. Cold air hit her face like a wall and she gasped, the cold air hitting her lungs with a sharp pang. "I hope we don't get in trouble for this....Then I'll never become a warrior!"[/color]

ic: Tigerkit giggled before taking off after Spottedkit. "Hey wait up! I wasn't ready!" Tigerkit called after her, not caring about how loud he was being. He kept kicking up snow as he was dashing away towards the high rock with his paws.

Her ears were plastered against her head as she raced across the clearing or she would have heard Tigerkit holler after her. Instead she put on a burst of speed, trying to ignore the nagging doubt in her mind that she was doing something wrong. She felt the hard, frozen ground through the light dusting of snow in the clearing. Her paws slipped and she dug her claws into the ground steadying herself. Her eyes remained focused on her goal, The high rock. She could see it looming before her, bursting from the earth like a tree. She skidded to a halt at the base of the rock and threw her weight back on her haunches. Her front paws lifted from the earth and she slammed them purposefully against the High Rock and turned to look back over her should a bright smile on her face. "I win!" She yowled triumphantly at Tigerkit flicked her tail toward him. "What do you want to do now?" She asked dropping back on all four paws and blinking at her new friend warmly.

Tigerkit finished the race only seconds after Spottedkit. He sighed and said in a playful tone, "Alright, you win this time but just know that this isn't over." He was lost in thought for a second after that before suggesting, "How about we play hide and seek?" He purred as he sat down right beside her as he was taking a moment to catch his breath.

Her ears flicked forward and she slid her paws off the high rock and fell back to all four paws. "Alright, you win this time but just know that this isn't over." She purred and waved her tail happily. She turned and looked around the camp wondering what they could do next. She kneaded the ground with her claws and opened her mouth but Tigerkit beat her to it "How about we play hide and seek?" "Perfect!" She flicked her tail once more and looked around the clearing again. "You can hide first if you want and I'll count." She purred flicking his nose with her tail before turning back to the Highrock. She lay down and covered her eyes with her paws "1.....2.....3 The wind blew against her fluffy kit fur and seemed to seep deep into her bones. She shivered but continued counting.
