No Good Bone Breaker~

OOC: For you Thunderclanners out there, wait until SC is ready for you to post :)

Blazeflight was out patrolling with a few other warriors, hoping to peacefully mark the borders and maybe even catch some prey. This would be her first patrol as a warrior and she was very excited. No wonder, she had waited for quite a while to become a warrior. Nonetheless, she was happy to be free of the burdens of apprenticeship, and hoped she could possibly get an apprentice of her own.

Hazeflight followed behind the younger warrior. The silver she-cat was finally a full time warrior after spending moons as a queen in the nursery with her four kits. She had barely managed to keep them in tow and couldn't imagine the troubles there mentors were having, at least Puddlepaw wasn't under Wolfpaw's influence as much as she was as a kit, Hazeflight knew Honeydrop was keeping her busy. Hazeflight was incredibly thankful to be out and about gain and soon she could have her own apprentice again, seeing as she was back to bring a warrior and her former apprentice was a warrior now. It seemed to Hazeflight that things were looking up and that maybe StarClan had forgiven, her for what ever she had done. She knew it wasn't her fault. Smiling, Hazeflight bounded after Blazeflight, hopefully this patrol would be peaceful, she'd had enough of bieng in a constant fight with everyone. Well it felt like she was anyway, with the clan doubting her loyalty and everyone she cared about Slowly being picked off.

The crisp leaves crunched loudly underneath Shadewillow's paws as he followed both she-cat's, leaving a few lengths of distance between the trio as they continued their patrol. Lifting his gaze up towards the gap in the canopy, the tom's eyes narrowed slightly at the cold, bright sunlight that drifted in lazily through the leaf-less gaps in the branches overhead- he still much preferred the dark enclosing pines of Shadowclan territory. Speeding up slightly, he hurriedly padded after Hazeflight and Blazeflight, tail flicking slightly as the silence grew between the small group; both she-cat's seemed completely overtaken by thought. "It seems too quiet out." He finally broke the silence by speaking, deep voice echoing slightly in the still, frosty air.

OOC: Yes, this was supposed to be at the Thunderpath. For now, for the sake of the topic, were gonna pretend this is nearby the Thunderpath, as that is the border between Thunderclan and Shadowclan. Thanks for the cooperation~

"Your right, Shadewillow. It smells... odd. Almost like Thunderclan." With deep scars from her fight against Skyclan, she took every chance she had to defend her clan, and as the warrior code states, with her life. Though she thought this was going to be nothing more than a simple patrol, things didn't always turn out to be like they seemed. Hearing a twig snap where she couldn't see it, she decided to take initiative in the situation."Who's there?!" A low snarl building up in her throat, she stepped forward, not a care in the world about who and what might attack her. She was vulnerable."Whoever you are, show yourself!" Looking around, she scented the air again.This was definitely Thunderclan.


OOC: Thunderclanners are free to post as of now, and as for the bone-breaker, please dont immediately break her ribs, I want her to get a chance to fight and get a bit of trash talk in. She needs to be feisty before she gets broken :)

Blacktwig had been patrolling, humbly taking a place in the back to that he could lend other cats a paw at heading the group. He sniffed the air, a smell jaunted into his nostrils. His ears perked up, and he looked behind him. "I smell—" he began warily, until a cry entered his ears. The tom turned around. He was staying on his side, fortunately enough. His eyes dashed across their tarpaulins, and for a moment, his mouth was dry. He had experienced encounters like this before, so this one should be no different.

"Blacktwig of ThunderClan!" he called back flatly, sure that the felines of the auxiliary patrol would already know who he was, if they had been to recent Gatherings. "State your position," he added, although quietly and defensively, not with any tone of hostility. His whoop echoed through the trees, and he could see the silhouettes of other cats faintly dance through the recess of his eye. He had stopped to respond to the group of extrinsic representatives, not daring to inch a pawstep closer to them.

He glimpsed at his patrol to make sure that they weren't expressing any unneeded aggression. Perhaps they could all sort this out untroubled, and they would be on their way. It depended on if the ShadowClan patrol, judging by the repugnant scent he had picked up, felt the same way that he did. It was no surprise that they had come across one another, after all.

Emberheart followed close behind her brother, the cool tinge of leaf-bare and sunshine settling into her blindingly-bright pelt. Though she had kits back at camp, the russet queen couldn't bear to let a beautiful day like this go by—and besides, a sort of nostalgia had settled over her, dark and cold, when she'd been stuck in camp.

A flashback of rabbit fur struck her as she scented the familiar pine-sap tang, and her fur began to bristle.

Shadowclan.

She took up Blacktwig's right, muscles tensed. A sort of fierce protection had begun since she'd had kits, and now, thinking about one of the patrol biting Cypresskit, or snarling at Amberkit, or swiping at Markedkit, made her claws unsheathe and dig into the ground. They sounded hostile, and she wasn't taking any chances.

She chocked back a growl, shoulders back in a standing attack position, eyes narrowed and scanning the forest for any sight of them. She could hear them and smell their nauseating stink, but other than that there was nothing.

Driftpaw took up the rear of the patrol, her paws placed precisely, as to not alert anything. The dusty grey She-cat was a couple of tail-lengths behind the duo, but she didn't mind. Driftpaw didn't want to be near her step mum and cousin, the fact that she was on a patrol with her made her prickle with agitation.

Driftpaw nearly walked into them as they halted. She dropped her head, but rather boldly, well for her, stepped up beside Blacktwig. If she had to fight, she'd fight, even if she was the most insecure cat imaginable. Driftpaw still had clan loyalty, even if she'd abandoned ThunderClan it was only for a certain reason. And that reason had been taken care of very effectively, if she really had to the dusty grey she-cat would use her brute strength and size to take care of these other cats as well.

"Driftpaw of ThunderClan, and Emberheart of ThunderClan," replied the tom calmly. He didn't move an inch. "Who are you? Who is accompanying you?" he asked, additionally. He wanted to know if they were any fiendish rogues, or someone who they had provoked recently. Blacktwig saw that it was a young she-cat heading the ShadowClan patrol, perhaps an apprentice, or newly appointed warrior. Most likely the latter, for he hadn't seen an apprentice leading a patrol thus far in his lifespan.

"I shall not deliberately cross the border; this is simply a border patrol as well." Blacktwig replied, glad that everything was calm. He looked at Emberheart and Driftpaw to make sure that they were not scheming to do so as well. She dipped his head, and continued along the border, marking it now and then. The faintest scent of ThunderClan amalgamated with the intermingled stench of each clan. This was good—peace after so many moons of fighting. Most of them weren't versatile, sticking to the same hostility. He just wished for it to be fine.

Driftpaw sighed, she was glad they didn't have to fight and it would be peaceful. Driftpaw quickly got to her paws and slowly trudged after Blacktwig. " I'm glad we don't have to fight," she muttered.

Hazeflight stood where she was, she didn't care if this ended in a fight. It wouldn't be a first. The She-cat glaced down at a patch of ice. Her reflection stared back at her, a scar running down her right eye and her eyes fairly dull, their fire had been extinguished long ago. Hazeflight shook her head and turned away from the ice. She wasn't listening to Blazeflight or what Blacktwig were saying, but by the sound of it there would be no need to fight. The silver warrior padded up to Blazeflight, her tail held high and posture tall and sharp. ,l"That sounded very professional." she mewed with a hint of sarcasm "C'mon lrys get going, I can't stand the foul stench of the ThunderPath!"

Shadewillow bit back a sigh as Blazeflight continued to needlessly provoke the Thunderclan patrol- honestly what was there to even bicker over? They were both here to mark the borders and nothing more. "Can't blame newly appointed warriors for wishing to display their newest status." He reflected with a twitch of his ear, watching the older Thunderclan she-cat with a slight interest- she looked as though she had come into contact with a horde of foxes. Dismissing the nagging feeling, he padded up to Blazeflight and gave the younger ginger she-cat a long look before redirecting his attention to the Thunderclan trio, his expression unperturbed.  "Good luck with the rest of your patrol then." He mewed, privately agreeing with Hazeflight's words- why would any cat ever wish to linger here longer then they had to?

Blacktwig nodded towards Driftpaw, in agreement. "I always wish to settle an encounter normally—too much fighting has been happening." Blacktwig thought with a shudder about claws flailing, and snarling mouths baring fangs. He inwardly sighed.
