Cypresskit and Rosekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Darkstar ascended her den swiftly, for she had another ceremony to perform. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather under under the Highrock for a Clan meeting!"

Cypresskit padded out of the nursery, eyes bright and fur well groomed. This would be her apprentice ceremony, and she'd finally gain her apprentice name along with the duties and the responsibilities that came with it. The ginger-and-brown she-kit preferably wanted to avoid the crowd, but if she wanted to seem apprentice-worthy amongst her Clanmates, then she'd have to make little efforts. Cypresskit padded up to the front of the crowd and sat silently.

Sparrowheart appeared trotting out of the warriors den.

Mistywater walked out of the warriors den.

Pinewhisker trotted out of the warriors' den, purring deeply. Today he was mot minding Emberheart's snappy words, today he was going to spend time with his daughter. "Cypresskit, are you ready, little one?" he purred with a smile.

Markedkit went up to her sister, it wasn't her day today but it wouldn't be too long until she got to join her "You'll be a great apprentice. You'll be fantastic, the best! You ready?" She looked at her sister, her expression full of happiness and pride. She was glad it was finally time for Cypresskit to move out of the nursery and see what else there was to see in the rest of the forest.

Cypresskit shot both her father and her sister a wide grin, nodding quickly.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm ready! I just wish that you and Amberkit could get your apprentice names with me." The ginger-and-white kit said. Well, not a kit for much longer...

The leader stood a bit straighter, having found herself a bit slouched. "Cypresskit and Rosekit, please step forward."

Emberheart (who was totally there the whole time) let out a purr, rubbing her head against her eldest kit's cheek. She'd never known a pride like this could happen to her.

"You'll be fantastic," the queen told her, Emberheart's own eyes flickering with excitement. 

"I wonder who your mentor will be!" Amberkit added, body wriggling with happiness for her sister.

As Darkstar continued, the fiery she-cat licked Cypresskit's head once more, before sitting back and curling her tail around her remaining two kits, resting briefly against her mate's shoulder.

Cypresskit purred at the words of her mother and her sister, before she took a quick step forwards, looking up at Darkstar expectantly.

Ooc- Since Rosekit hasn't appeared, the ceremony will continue without them. Sorry.

Darkstar's eyes glittered for a moment out of amusement. They were quite a loving family. She wished she could say the same for herself. "Cypresskit, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time that you became apprenticed. From this moment on, until you receive your full warrior name, you shall be known as Cypresspaw. Blazestrike will be your mentor, and I know he will train you to the best of his ability."
