On Warrior Clan Cats, we have a certain hunting system. This hunting system implements the use of the Hunting Dice and elements of the battle system found here.

The hunting system is not required for every hunting patrol, however it must be used in formal assessments of apprentices, as it is part of the rank system requirements. It is a helpful system that is designed to spice up roleplaying.

Under the hunting system, there are no dice rolls for prey encounters. The RPer chooses what prey they wish to hunt from the list attached below. Below each prey type, there are the dice rolls needed for a successful hunt for each clan. The numbers have been adjusted to represent the clan's natural sources of prey. Depending on the season, and other in-RP factors, the numbers can be adjusted by Staff at any time.

*If your cat is disabled then you have a -2 chance to catch something. (If something is 1-8 chance then your new chance is 1-6)

Furthermore, please note that any rolling of a 10 will trigger a battle encounter regardless of the location in which the topic is set. The list of possible battle encounters are attached to this topic as well. Similar to hunting prey, you can choose what to encounter in battle. Once you've been locked into a battle encounter, the RPer who rolled the dice must take over the role as the predator. Each predator has their own movesets that are listed below each Roll List. You do not need to lower a predator's HP to 0. If you do not wish to bring in the predator as prey, you can lower its HP to half-way and drive it off.

Moveset:
Iron bite does -30 HP damage for -20 SP cost.
Heavy blow does -25 HP for -20 SP cost.

Dog
150 HP /350 SP
Moveset:
Thrash does -20 HP damage for -20 SP cost.
Iron bite does -30 HP damage for -20 SP cost.
Heavy blow does -25 HP damage for -20 SP cost.

Eagle

Talon Strike -10 HP Damage for -10 SP cost.
Swoop does -30 HP damage for -20 SP cost.
